2 pets out?

So, I was talking to my guild mastery today, and the topic of Beta came up, and he told me that a real life friend of his, who is in Beta, said the new Beast Mastery talent allows you to have 2 pets out at once. Now, I'm not in Beta, so I cant check this myself (not that I don't trust his friend, but) and I cant find a topic about it here. So, can anyone in beta confirm or deny this? I'd love to be able to run around with 2 pets out, but it doesn't really sound to me like something Blizz would do, unless they put in a damage decrease to go with it. Thanks in advance for any and all help on the matter!

Denied.
He's thinking of the ability that lets you temporarily call the rest of your active pets (stampede). It's pretty cool, but it's far from a permanent effect.

Ah, ok. Thanks for the info.

There is also a different ability from the talent tree that calls a beast from the zone you're in to aid you for a small time. This would technically cause a 2nd pet, but you don't get to choose what it is, it's just a random beast from your current zone.

Oh right, this too - that ability is called Dire Beast.

Nope, it's a choice on the level 75 tier of hunter talents alongside Murder of Crows and Lynx Rush.
