So, I was checking out guild rewards and such, and saw at the very bottom "Reins of the Thundering Cloud Serpent" for 3000 gold. It requires Artisian Flying and level 90. I just actually saw this, and I wasn't sure if anyone posted about it yet.

So... is anyone pondering on what it looks like?

By the name I would guess a very dark one, i.e. black, but who knows?

Nice my guilds like half of the exp off from lvl 25 so this made my day!.

Does it require any acheivments or anything or simply a lvl 30 guild and be lvl 90 with artistan flying to acquire/learn it?

At the moment, no. It only costs 3000 gold at a Guild Vendor.
If you're on beta, I'd reccommend to buy this quickly, before they change it

I'm sure it will be like the lvl 25 guild mounts and that you just need to gain that level.

Yeah. I'm glad to see this though. There is also a pet, called Thundering Cloud Serpent Hatchling, which I assume will be a mini version of the mount.

Yeah it seems like it would.

With the "thundering" in the name, I'm expecting something pretty epic. Thinking along the lines of the current storm-drakes... lightning tracing over their body, glowing eyes/patterns/hair/whatever. Stuff like that. The scorpid and lion were fun, and had the benefit of being usable in BGs, but no one uses ground mounts out in the world anymore. Now we'll have a flying mount we can show off, which is pretty cool.

Well, the dark phoenix was(well ...is) a flying mount... XD

Not all of the colors will be obtainable through the faction. You only get a choice of three eggs.

The black actually makes perfect sense for the storm serpent. There are some black cloud serpents in Townlong that seem to be heavily associated with storms. There's even one that's drawing power from one!

Eee, as long as the black one is available somehow, I'm happy! It's the one I want. <3

I think i might have found what you were hoping for.
A black serpent with the lightning.
It does not really look quite complete yet but they might be working on it.
