...not on a hunter, or on a realm with a hunter to tame him but...
I saw him at least for the first time ever(in the wild that is...)!

Y'know, I can honestly say that in all my years of playing, and all the times I was in that area, I have never seen him myself.

Same here. Never once saw the wolf, and Hinterlands is my favorite Old World zone.

Be sure to pet him each time you visit him.
Isn't it droll how you're on another class and you're not particularly looking for a rare pet and it shows up and when you're on your hunter, they're not there? Almost like the game is a psychic.

Ahh yeah Old Cliffy, I actually camped I think 2 weeks before I got her.. shes the main reason why it took me so long to get to lvl 80 lol because I spent so much time camping rares lol
That place is pretty populated what with her spawn points being so close to the road and of course the farmers. Dont remember the time I got her but I am pretty sure it was around 10 in the morning. Persistence pays off for sure so if you want Cliffy just casually fly over there from time to time and you may get lucky
Named her Aelina and shes my raiding pet, had so many wolves but because it took me so long to get her I am keeping her for good

Funny you mentioned him because this morning I was talking to my husband about which wolf to get, been indecisive to heck, so he picked this one because it's similar to our pup, so I went hunting for him, left to get the pets things, came back & as I was sorting the food & treats:

Haha, nice! I tried to help my brother camp for him a couple weeks ago, but he's way more impatient than me and gave up after about half an hour.
