Did you notice if it stacks with our passive +5crit (to make +10% total) or gets nulled by it?

If it's like the wolf/Devilsaur (and it seems likely) then it doesn't stack with TSA in Beta, i brought it up on the EU forums some days ago here http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/4008281349

Sadly it didn't get much attention :(

I posted my support on the US thread. Cat skele for this beast is awful.

I'll be honest. I really don't care if its on the cat skeleton or worg skeleton. While I like the worg run animation, I do find the cat running animation far superior to the worg run animation. But I like the worg idle animation (AND LACK OF ANNOYING YAWNS) far superior to the cat idle animations.

But if I had to pick one, I'd have to say Worg. I mean.... they really just BAM STAND OUT amazingly on that skeleton.

That said though, if I could change one thing about Quilen more than the model animations?

THE NAME.

I'm sorry, but it is driving me up the wall that the family is named after the Kirin/Qilin beast. When it is clearly not a dragon-like horse. It's clearly a Foo Dog/Chinese lion. XD

The upright(worg skeleton) definitely fits the stone quilins the best. I do like both, but think the worg skeleton works the best with them, even the organic skins. While the worg run is a little funky, I think I'll excuse it for a regal and proud idle stance. When I think of the guardian dog/lion, I always picture them sitting/standing upright and tall, not hunched low like the cat skeleton.

While this is a creature I wanted to see added, I was a little drawn back by their faces. I was not happy with the pug look. (I really hate pugs, lol) I must say, though, that seeing them with the worg skeleton really changed my mind about them. It just makes the head/face look better... much better.

So, my WMV didn't update and I was able to 'preserve' the version that has the worg skeleton on the quilen, and load a new WMV with the cat skeletons. If anyone wants comparison shots let me know.

I'm using the stone skin since that's the only one that exists on the worg skeleton and it makes it easier to compare.

That's for posting those comparisons, Veph. Gosh, the cat walk looks horrible. To me, there's no contest, the worg skeleton is just so much better on all accounts.

The mane also looks a lot better on the worg model. It's all nice and rounded and filled out, on the cat model it just looks like a design that's part of the back.

Oh man. The cat looks… so broken and awful. :-/ And the FACE. The worg makes the face look right, the cat skeleton stretches it out so it's super wide and INCREDIBLY fugly.

Maybe just maybe, with a lotta love and may be some begging on the feedback forums, they'll let the stone quilen keep the worg skeleton and the organic ones the cat skeleton. The worg skeleton just matches the stone texture perfectly.

After seeing those comparisons? No. No cat skeleton, period. Quilens look terribly, horribly broken on it.

Ok, looking closer at the cat animations, they are horrible. They have a dislocated shoulder when they run, walk, and swim.

I can never get the animation part of WMV to save correctly but look at the yawning animation. Arm tumors growing with every stretch. It's worst than Sambas' chest tumor.

I hope they go back to the worg skeleton. If they stay with the cat skeleton I will not be taming one, no matter how awesome that battle rez might be.

Wow, yeah, it definitely looks much better on the worg skeleton. The belly is a little bit fatter, but other than that, the worg model is a million times better. It just looks more stoic and guardian-like.

THANK YOU, Veph!

And can I just point out the funky elbow hair that looks terrible/weird on the cat skeleton and looks reasonably presentable on the worg?
