Awsome. I still have a problem with a turtle running faster then you can but DANG they look awsome!

I agree they look silly going at that speed... Then again look at camels >_< But they're a lot bigger than I have originally thought so it might make up for it! hoping I can see a turtle on the beta soon so I can see how they move (:

I sorta like the idea, stumpy turbo legs and all - wasn't really able to get into that turtle as a pet but it looks kind of neat as a mount (imo).

What about the yak? Was that ever a mount, or tamable or etc? Or was that all just pure speculation on the players' part?

At least one yak (the Grand Expedition Yak - the new traveller's tundra mammoth) is going to be sold by Uncle Deepockets in Grummle Bazaar in Kun-Lai Summit.

Looks like the yak mount vendor is in Kun-Lai Summit at the Grummle Bazaar, but not activated yet.

Edit: That's what I get for not refreshing before I post--Andine beat me to the punch. There are other yaks there as well, which leads me to think they may also be purchaseable

I like it. It was rumored that cranes were going to be their mounts and it just didn't sit right to me to have these hefty panda people riding around on delicate cranes. Turtle mounts are much more appropriate. That and the turtle as the starting hunter pet? Awesome!

Yep they'd have to give their poor mounts a back adjustment after every trip.

Hurray!! I was hoping for the dragonturtle as the faction mount! that or yaks.
