(No offense, Blizz artists, but this is so not my thing. T_T)

NO.....NOT going to have it....I'll transmorg my whole set...hate it hate it hate it...~sigh~ oh, now that I got that out. (ok, I dont really hate the whole thing...mainly that horrible thing the call a helm..I mean...just wow...I could probbly deal with the shoulders, though still not warm and fuzzy over them)

I DO love love love love LOVE the druid helm and shoulders! So going to get that from my druid.

TBH I am really, really, loving this outfit 8D I wish they gave us a side view of the shoulder that has the head and not the side that is a simple shoulder pad, like, i have no idea what it looks like and they didnt bother showing it off

I'm in the minority here, but I like it. I rarely display helm anyways (since the whole NE female eyebrows sticking out of them awkwardly bothers me), but that shoulder armor is just cool. And I love the colors. It does remind me of Yak (and the Taunka XD) though.

Personally, not a big fan of the Druid set. The helm for druid looks cool, and the rest of it is nice, but it doesn't really stand out to me like this armor does for Hunters. That and my druid is feral, so I don't see the armor anyways XD

Mind you, I like the whole heads-as-shoulders concept. The original ZA bear shoulders are among my favorites (those aren't real bears, okay???)....I'm just not a fan of the horns on a shoulder.

Wow... allthough, we shouldn't be surprised, none of the Cata hunter sets were really anything to write home about either. But that helm is total fail, and the rest of it is boring at best.

Another thing to consider is that the challenge mode gear is supposed to "look nicer", and they certainly made that clear.

But we have Tmogging now, so I really don't care that much.

Meh, I've like every Hunter set to date except the ever-so-boring Giantstalker. This set is not exception. I'm not too keen on the helm, but I think the rest will look brilliant on a dwarf.

The druid set is so much nicer...

I like horned helms, but I would have preferred something sticking forward and out like the warlock T14.

Asymmetrical sets really bother me, though. Thank goodness for transmog.

Expect the missing shoulder to turn up somewhere on the T14 rogue set...

I don't think it's awful, just... generic, dull. The horns might be supposed to represent a yak, but horned helmets are a dime a dozen and the rest of the set doesn't evoke anything to me. They don't seem to have captured the essence of a yak, but instead just stuck a few yak trinkets and logos on an otherwise very standard set. I'd consider it less distinct than most of the Northrend green quality sets.

And Wowhead must have switched the boots on the first and third sets


Still, it could be worse. At least it doesn't have a gigantic spit roast carving knife glued to the forehead. I'd invite that DK around for Sunday roast

I think I sort of like the hat but then again I kind of don't. I hate that shape helm, even if I like horns. Those horns are kind of ugly, though. Straight up? That's going to look really fugly on most races.
The big locks of hair are kind of "wut".
I like the bone shoulder, and the general armor detail is nice and streamlined… But… Not sure if want.

Hahahaha fear us Yaks! Tho...it's going to be awkward riding one/having one as a pet with that suit on.

Seriously though, not like it really matters much to me anyway. I don't raid anymore and likely never will, so it's probably something I'll never get anyway.

Ever consider the possibility that the artist was maybe going for a Mongolian theme? ie Genghis Khan.

I hadn't. But mainly because I don't recall ever seeing Mongol armour that looks anything like it. The Mongol armour I was familiar with was more like:



While I'm sure Mongols used more than one style of armour and didn't look like clones, I haven't yet found anything that looks like this Blizzard set.
