Wowhead picked up some interesting things in the latest build...

http://mop.wowhead.com/spell=127830 I know we knew they were likely to get the mastery buff, but there's confirmation!

http://mop.wowhead.com/spell=57902 Using copies of my current pet for Stampede? Yes please!

http://mop.wowhead.com/spell=57903 We get to shoot fireworks, too!

Exhilaration and Spirit Bond were buffed back up, as well, while Chimera Shot got a nerf from 5% to 3%.

Also putting Spirit bond to 2% healing, instead of 1%.

Edit: aww, that got noted already. :c

No prob! At least now it's actually a choice between Posthaste and Exhilaration, and Iron Hawk and Spirit Bond for me again.

I'd like iron hawk more if i knew whether or not it also gave that damage reduction to my pet. Might make soloing dungeons easier, with a more durable tank.

Eek, double patch note threads. ;)
Exhilaration When you Disengage, you are instantly healed for 5% of your total health. Requires Level 15. Instantly heals you for 30% and your pet for 100% of total health. 45 yd range. Instant. 2 min cooldown. Requires Level 45.
Awwwww. :( But okay! :D It makes a lot more sense for raiding now, hehe. Plus that's an awesome AND reliable self-heal for PvP. :)
Cobra Shot Generates 9 Focus. Generates 14 Focus.
Nice! :D
Chimera Shot An instant shot that causes 115% ranged weapon Nature damage plus (73.2% of RAP + 2,064), refreshing the duration of your Serpent Sting and healing you for 5% of your total health. 3% of your total health.
Awwwwww. :( Still, with the exhilaration buff, that's okay.

OH WAIT!
Glyph of Chimera Shot Increases the healing you receive from Chimera Shot by an additional 5% of your maximum health. 2% of your maximum health.
There it is! :D

I love just how goofy minor glyphs are. xD

Fireworks should be a major glyph. I have had a firework shot at me, its terrifying lol :P

The the other pet thing to note was ... ok, I just went to find specific details, and now it's not there.... but I could have sworn I read it on my IPHONE on the way to work... O_o....

ARh HA! Still open on the IPHONE, there's no hiding from me sneaky little bugger!! ***click!** Screen Shot!!!

Image

Now... where was I...

It also looked like the "cone" prerequisite may have been removed to make it more in line with the Burrow ability?

(8secs to all enemies within 8 yard?s)

Though it does look like it may have taken a RAP coefficient Nerf (or maybe I'm just reading it wrong, good change off that <.<), I think the removal of the "Cone" is a very nice quality of life change for those using them.

Was just kinda odd because if you go to MMO now, it's gone from the notes, only the ROC and SB Blessing change remain under "PETS:" :|

There's another decent nerf that have not been picked up yet either....

Sure we get an independent, on use heal with the new exhilaration, but did you see where they put it?

It's now in the lvl 45 bracket, along with AOFIH and Spirit bond.... Sure they bumped Spirit Bond back up a little, but before we could use exhilaration in conjunction with it (no matter if the 1% was a small heal) with it.

Now it's one, or the other... oh or AOTIH.

Admittedly, I suppose the talents do "line up" better with the lvl 45 bracket being more "heal?" themed and with CT-HC in the lvl 15 bracket. But then with deterrence learnt at lvl 68, it's a bit naff you have to wait 50 or so more lvl's to use the other half of the benefit from the lvl 15 talent...

That was my guess too, but then I didn't see anyone post about it either. It actually has a rather large impact on the pet world also.

Remember why they made the Worms drop off the aggro table "burrowing?", in order to remove it as the "best tenacity pet" for AOE threat, etc. (trying not to repeat the gorilladin plague of WOTLK)

Now with the ability to choose what spec we want for our pets, If this change is new, it will effectively make Chimeras the Kings of AOE Tanking, Beast Cleave + Breath + Thunderstomp.... now that will be hard to beat for AOE threat, by any other pet.

Good call, though it could also be argued that the choice is between which type of healing/avoidance you want, which is in line with

Hrm - it'll be interesting to see if that gets re-nerfed to get brought back in line with burrow.

SV's mastery increases magic damage so I wonder if this means cats are still going to be better than a Wind Serpent for SV?

Quite honestly, I'm glad I can choose CTHT without missing IH or SB. I feel much better choosing Exhil over the other 2 than I do about choosing CTHT over them. And a 60 second reduction on a 30% heal? That'll be very nice for PvP.

Also, if you couldn't already tell, I primarily PvP.

It dose make one wonder if they will classify, Exhilaration as a "Hunters Abilities" when it comes to Readiness.

/cast [@player] Spirit Mend
/castsequence Deterrence, Exhilaration, Readiness, Exhilaration, Lols
/targetlasttarget
/Grin

Wait... what ... full health reset with no interrupt!?!?!

...Ohmigawd they took the frontal cone off of Froststorm Breath?!

I am a happy hunter who hopes that stays. While I haven't been able to bond with a worm thus far, I /have/ managed some sort of bond with my Nuramoc, Ashan.

No doubt chimaeras will be great for aoe threat if Froststorm Breath doesn't drop aggro, but remember that pets cannot dodge or parry when channeling an attack. If you are going to be doing heavy aoe pet tanking it might be hard to keep the chimaera up unless you have a healer or a BM tank spec will all the healing talents/glyphs.
