Oh dear, now I need to choose again between Spirit Bond and AotIH.

Well, if in a group, AotIH, if solo, Spirit Bond is now worth it again.

I'll likely choose SB over AotIH for PvP, even with healers, as they like to ignore us hunters a lot in my experience.
Didn't see that Exhilaration got moved to the same tier... That'll be my choice in PvP.

With the rollback of the nerf, yeah. But for PVE groups? Iron Hawk all the way.

Eh, I'm still not sure for PvE... I feel like SB is a nice little heal to help keep us floating around a bit easier. Sure the Armor of IH is nice but IDK if it outshines SB now. But it may end up coming down to personal, raid group, and even healer preference.

I think it's interesting that they put Spirit Bond, Exhilaration, and Iron Hawk all on the same tier. After all the bitching I did about taking away choices and making one talent the clear cut winner I feel Blizz sort of flipped me the bird and was like, "you want hard choices??? here ya go!" LMAO!
By putting all three of what were, IMO, some of the best talents on the same tier it sure is going to be a hard choice. I still feel Iron Hawk may be a valid choice. A flat out 15% damage reduction is pretty sweet. If it extends to our pets I think that is the talent I will take. Even for pvp.

Currently I am running with Iron hawk, just questing around. If I were to pvp I might be more inclined to go with an added self heal, but for my usually pve/questing/dungeoning (will probably go BM-pve/BM-pvp builds in MoP), I'd rather do more damage (and get damage reduced) and leave my pet/group to hold the aggro. relying on the healer to do their job (in groups). But everyones got their own preferences.

I hate hard choices.. I really do. So instead of getting more self heals then we have already, we get less or none really if you choose damage reduction and even then on certain fights (quite a few stand on or near the boss fights) I just used the raptor strike glyph which we no longer have. MM if they want their chimera shot to be what it is now, they have to glyph it. Oh and exhileration isnt disengage, its an instant heal I think :
Exhilaration
Requires Level 45
45 yd range Instant
2 min cooldown
Instantly heals you for 30% and your pet for 100% of total health.
But theres still things that need to be reworked like the whole dodge thing, in pve it wont be to bad once you reforge like heck but pvp right now its currently brutal. Getting some form of healing or damage reduction is nice, but if you cant hit your target or you continue to miss with all your key shots and not get any focus back we are essentially worse off then one person standing in our deadzone. I really hope gear comes with a ton of hit and expertise, especailly pvp gear that tends to... not really lol I had to reforge a ton of my pve gear just to get my hit rating now, add on more expertise and I think ill run out of things to reforge. But yah.. I am so getting off the topic my bad

I think to start off in Mists, we'll all have trouble reforging to our caps. As the gear gets more powerful, that will become less of an issue--same story everyone else has gotten in past expansions. XD;
Exhilaration is looking /really/ attractive if it's unattached to Disengage.

Exhilaration has its own cooldown now and is completely detached from any other spells.

Yeah, I really like the new Exhilaration. It's just choosing between that and Iron Hawk is hard. Spirit Bond is pretty easy for me pass up, honestly. A small passive amount of healing vs a set passive damage reduction or an on demand heal that we can control just makes SB less attractive, IMO.
For pve it's Iron Hawk hands down. For pvp it's harder. Having a decent self heal...unattached to one of our main melee counters...is really good. But so is a flat damage reduction. Basically negating 15% of another players damage 100% of the time is really good also. Sigh! Choices!
