Didn't see this posted in the other threads, and it's important, so...
Racials
Dwarf

Gun Specialization has been reworked: Expertise with ranged weapons increased by 1%.

Troll

Bow Specialization has been reworked: Expertise with ranged weapons increased by 1%.

Undead

Underwater Breathing has been renamed Touch of the Grave: Your attacks and damaging spells have a chance to drain the target, dealing 13,680 Shadow damage and healing you for the same amount.
Nice day for dwarves!!!

Ranged weapons. Not guns.

Rejoice.

While I generally enjoy guns, I am very glad that it's all ranged weapons. Also, 1% less Expertise I need to stack!!

Wat.

It's still one of the most amazing racials!

Which is why porcupines have it too, no doubt. ;)

Indeed, but we don't have to fret now about taking a bow or crossbow, and we can always tmog it back to a gun. :ugeek:

Wait, what? Does this mean Undead are losing their Underwater Breathing??

/is royally not amused. I LOVE that ability! And i JUST got a Undead to lvl 85 like yesterday and because of a glitch in Vashj'ir with The Verne, i was able to survive the entire trip through Vashj thanks to my ability instead of dying to drowning halfway through

Yes, and honestly I have no qualms with it. Back in Vanilla it was a pretty decent perk since the breath meter was much shorter in those days, but now it's hardly useful as a racial since our default breath meter has been so greatly increased.

This new undead racial is much sexier. :D

That undead racial is awesome! And the Dwarf one too. One of these days I'm going to make a Dwarf hunter. :D

Yeah, I remember that awful, awful night elf shipwreck quest back in Vanilla, where everyone kept drowning. Back then having a hydrocane meant something!

Then in TBC or maybe it was wotlk they started handing out free underwater breathing potions with any quest that required being underwater for more than like 10 seconds... nowadays it's more like fatigue - can kill you but only if you go far (far) out of your way looking for it. :)

Yeah it was Wotlk I think. Thats the one I remember having like 6 things that did the same thing and never needing to use them. >.< That was the expack where things just started getting easyer :/

Oh yes, no longer having to feel like a traitor to my own race just because of Vishanka! :D
(I'll still be mogging to guns though. Dwarfs+guns+bears=awesomesauce)

Why do they want us to use Expertise again ?

Because they feel like all the other 'physical' damage fighters, IE all melee classes, have to stack it, and they usually consider us a physical damage class as well. I'm personally alright with it, as if the other classes can manage to cap it, and If I get a 1% bonus, then it's not a huge deal.

One thing that was mentioned that is a bit... iffy... is that Hunters are likely going to have a more difficult time staying behind an enemy (particularly PvP) than the melee classes. This is why expertise is not a HUGE deal to them, because if they soft cap, they can stick behind someone as much as possible to avoid ANY chances at dodges/blocks/parries. However, the same would work for hunters, except it is much more challenging for a hunter to stay behind someone through an entire fight, making it more vital to us, and likely increasing how much we actually have to stack.

I wonder what they're going to do with the atribute resistances, such as Blood Elves resistance to arcane, or undead's shadow, since there aren't going to be arcane/fire/frost/nature/shadow anymore or something

... In that regard, why take the underwater breathing and not shadow resist?

The spell resist racials where changed to be 1% reduced damage from magical damage. So say if it was Shadow, then all that type of damage you receive is reduced by 1%. Not really as good as what we have now, I think it's something like 12~15%? They should up it up a little bit.

As far as I'm concerned, the Horde can no longer complain about EMFH. Will of the Forsaken PLUS a chance on hit to deal damage and drain health? >_>

I kind of regret not making my (now) main hunter a female dwarf like originally intended.
