Yes, and? As far as I know the Xuen skill's been in for a bit, the last build only altered it--it didn't add it.

Considering we can tame a spirit beast version of a shaman's ghost wolf, I'm not worried.

Not everyone may of known that it was a graphic for a spell? I certainly did not.

Sorry for being snappish--I tend to forget not everyone stalks MMO-Champion. Granted, if they only give this model to monks? Rage. There will be much of it.

I don't believe that information has made it here before. :)

We have been getting a slew of rehash threads lately, though, so it's understandable being a little trigger happy. ;)

Yup...'tis late and I'd forgotten exactly where it was I'd seen it before. Either MMO or Wowhead, one of the two...either way, still crossing my fingers. *wants this model to be tamable, whether translucent or not, so bad*

Omg, it's not see-through! :D
This means if we do happen to get a spirit beast of this model, it also might not be see-through! :D Joyous day!

Changing my hunter's name to Sadpanda if it doesn't become tameable =(

Welp. Rolling a monk.

To be honest I have had my doubts of this not becoming a rare or spirit beast from the start. (Partially because I don't want to get my hopes up.) To see it as a monk class skill is surprising though, so never say never when there's surprises to be had all around.

Nothing is final. There may be a spirit beast of this yet. Remember Har'koa and Loque'nahak!

As someone else mentioned, there is a hunter pet version of the wolves that shaman can summon so it is entirely possible this could still show up as a pet. I am glad to see that it is not transparent though. Hopefully if it does make it in as a tamable pet it will keep it's opaque qualities.

Yup. Between that and Loque'nahak, there's precedence for both potential obstacles...not being obstacles.

Can you imagine the outrage if Monks get this as a pet, even if it has a cd, and hunters don't? I can't imagine Blizz would do that to hunters.

I think it's a very fitting monk ability, and I don't see the need for hunters to cause an outrage over it if that's the case. The monk is calling on a Pandarian god. I know the model's appealing, but just because it's a beast doesn't mean it has to be for us and no one else. There are many classes that have unique summoned creatures that other classes don't get. We get a lot of love as it is, other classes should get something special once in a while too. ;)

Yes, but...it would make an extremely suitable spirit beast, there's little obstacle for it not to be one, and I'm not really sure I can overstate how much I want this thing. Griever might even change forms if it becomes available!

Lots of classes have cool abilities. I'm not saying they shouldn't have it. Just to have one of the coolest looking skins in the game not be available for hunters to tame would rub a lot of people the wrong way. Taming beasts is a hunter thing. Being able to tame the best looking beasts in game should come with it. It's not feeling entitled or anything. It's what the hunter class does.

Just because it would be suitable doesn't mean we'll get it.

I don't see why other classes can have fun toys too.

Doesn't mean we'll get it, but it doesn't mean we won't either. And enough people have seen wished-for families/pets become tamable on virtue of wanting it bad enough that I'm just gonna keep on wanting. :D
