Hunter Talent Update

Just saw this on MMO_Champ

Hunter (Forums)

Fetch now has a 0.1 sec cast time.

Talents

Narrow Escape now lasts until cancelled.

Pets

Cackling Howl (New) The hyena lets out a cackling howl, increasing the melee and ranged attack speed of all party and raid members within 100 yards by 10% for 2 min. Instant. 1.5 min cooldown. Special Ability.
Dust Cloud weakens the armor of the target by 4% for 30 sec. Stacks up to 3 times.
Serpent's Swiftness (New) Increases the melee and ranged attack speed of all party and raid members within 100 yards by 10% for 2 min. Instant. 1.5 min cooldown. Special Ability.
Tear Armor weakens the armor of the target by 4% for 30 sec. Stacks up to 3 times. :mrgreen:

Wow, didn't expect the return of windfury! Makes sense, but wow.

Adding pet names for those who don't recognize the abilities offhand (or just want it conveniently noted):

Wow. So *many* stable changes if I want to keep my pets with a good string of talents! I'm *so* eager for all of this! Maybe that's just because seeing Suresh getting a lot of use gives me a happy, though.

What's the difference between 'special ability' and... well... the other things?

Wow! It's bittersweet because it means my Tallstrider, Muffet, will have a legit pve buff but since I want to limit duplicates it means I'll probably be releasing my raptor, Apple. :( I'll also have to decide between bringing back my hyena, Sanco Panza, or my serpent, Volos. And on a happier note, I get to keep my Muffet and my new MoP goat, Bukko, with zero guilt whatsoever! :D

Dust inside armor exposes the person wearing it to attacks while s/he is trying to scratch itches. :D

Stick some armor out in a sandstorm, let's test this thing.

All jokes aside, I know a friend who will be VERY happy with this--he's in one of the higher-end guilds, and I'm not sure how often his Mingo (turquoise 'strider that he's had since vanilla, much like me and Griever) gets to come out to play.

Some how I don't think Bliz GAF regarding a pets ability actually lining up with any trait of the pet them selves anymore, they gave up on that some time ago...

Poor hyenas, 1st they slowed targets by biting their heals, (Plausible) Then they made you bleed more (Well I guess they could do that by bite their enemies heals to much?) Now they giggle and it makes you attack faster?
Talk about identity issues, gonna have to start directing all hyenas towards the feinting couch for therapy.

Whats next...?

Devilsaurs Delight
The devilsaur pouts and makes big doe eyes as the enemy, making itself so terrifyingly delightful that they fall under it's charm for 5 seconds. Instant. 50sec cooldown. "Super Special Ability"

Don't get me wrong, I really like the fact that they are adding missing buffs to our pets, it's awesome! But just throwing them at random pets when they could have given it a little more thought?

Idk, maybe give the attack speed to maybe warpstalkers, you know, they are supposed to speed and slow time and what not. They could have called it....

That Narrow Escape thing lasting until cancelled (the target or the hunter?) must not be its final version.
If it is until the target clicks it, then it will be worthless because it will be too easily removed and last not long enough.
If it is until the hunter cancels it, well, we can just imagine how game breaking that would be.

I imagine that it is dispellable so having a 3 second duration like it had before seems to be the way they should have left it.

Am I thinking about this thing the wrong way?
