Unwanted WoW break time

I've always had a Blizzard account since 2004 and for the first time it appears as though my subscription will have to be let go of for a while. I was laid off on 4/12, replaced by a new computer /phone triage system, and still haven't found a job yet. 
My 6 month subscription ends soon and I sadly just won't have the money to keep it running even if it's for a month of game time. That $15 is pretty much almost a weeks of food for me. I just cannot justify spending the money on WoW. I am not sure how long I'll be gone. At least until I get a job and a steady income coming back in. Ugh. And I know MoP is going to be released soon.
Thought I'd give everyone the heads up and almost share my grief that for the first time in 7 years I'll no longer have an active WoW subscription. I feel lost really. Frustrated.
