Brother kittens. [updated]

About 8-9 weeks or so ago, a co-worker of mine's cat had kittens. Well my BF really wanted a kitten and we'd been lazily looking around for the past year or so. Well a couple weeks ago I went with my daughter (2yr) and my Nephew (4yr) to look at the little ones as they explored the world around them. We stuck our claim on one, a tabby with orange-ish colors to him. My BF named him "Mojo".

The day before yesterday I learned that one of the kittens, the little black one still hadn't found his people. So after much eye battering and pretty pleases, I convinced my BF to say "yes" to another kitten. And so today my co-worker brought them here to their new home, a cute pair of fluzzy brothers.
She brought with her a bag of kitten chow, a couple of their "stuffies" and a box with an old blanket that they had been sleeping in.

After some initial looking around they decided to crash on the couch for a few hours, waking every so often to clean each other’s faces. Then Kayla (my daughter) woke from her nap and they've been getting to know each other. I am actually really impressed with how gentle she is being with the kittens, She also found great joy in watching them both eating food from their bowl.

There is only so far one problem with the kittens coming to live here...Pixie, my 17yr old black cat. So far her initial reaction was to sniff Mojo, but when she saw Numair (the black kitten that we decided on at the last minute...cookie if you get the name ref.) she started hissing and growling and then ran behind the couch and only came out once briefly saw the sleeping kittens, hissed some more and went back to hiding/sulking.

Alright, here’s the bit people really want to see, pictures!!!

Pretty, cute kittens. I love Mojo, I've always had a soft spot for tabby cats. And I wouldn't worry about the older cat, especially for the old cats it takes some time to get used to new cats around. Either way she will accept them as her little ones or she will just ignore them and mind her own business.

Some more updated pictures of the boys, and my older cat. The lizards name is Zeke, and he belongs to a friend of mine, she brought him over for a visit :)

So Mojo and Numair are now 6 mnth old, and I've got to get their vet apt done for the snippity. Pixie (my older cat) has finally calmed down somewhat around the boys, though she still gives them a solid whack when they get to close to her.

Mojo is nicknamed "dumbass" since he's a VERY slow learner...dumb as a brick, but so cute! Just the other day he came running in from the deck, straight across the living room, missed the scratch post and did a header right into the wall, at full speed...He's fallen into the bathtub several times while I've been giving my daughter her bath...fascinated with water, but hates getting wet! Other then that, he's just a spazzy fight kitty that attacks anything that moves, and loves to pounce out of hiding on who ever is walking by.

Numair on the other hand, is a very calm, relaxed, smart boy. He's becoming my snugly lap kitty, and follows me around. When he want up, he puts his paws on my thigh and waits to be picked up (though if I ignore him, he tries to climb up). He;s very adamant that if he wants to be on my lap, no mater how many times I put him down he will jump back up. he's also getting harness trained, and loves going to the park. Anytime he see's me getting the stroller ready, he comes running and jumps into the bottom basket, ready to go.

Mojo tries to get out to, but since he spazzes at the tiniest of things, I don't take him out. Would not want him freaking out at the park and getting loose.

I love the classic tabby grey and white :3 It's got a very nice tabby M. I only really got into them this year when I got one myself and they are very pretty cats.

yeah, they are getting big to fast. Numair always seems to have a regal pose when he sits or lays/looks around. But nothing can relax like a tabby! Really should take more pics of Mojo sleeping, half the time he's upside down on his head, or draped awkwardly over something.

He's so soft to, like petting feather down! Hard to believe when petting Mojo and Numair that they are brothers. Mojo's fur is kind of course and spiky, and Numairs is so feathery and soft, he's my plushie boy!
