Goodness, I do not mess the days of camping a rare.

Recently, I decided to camp the Time Lost Proto Drake again after many unsuccessful camps in the past. And I got to tell all of you, I am exhausted to the bone.

I have killed Vyragosa 5 times over the last week and my gut feeling is telling me someone got to the drake while I was sleeping or sitting on another camp spot (I'm not sure if that server macro still works). I have two accounts, so I thought I might actually have a small advantage, but alas, I am not getting my way. And to think, I'm going to have to do this for some of the other rare mob mount drops. Ah.

Here's hoping for the good ole Petopia magic. It's worked before!

Now that I found the Time-Lost Proto Drake, it's time for some Aeonaxx camping. So far I've camped his spawn points for about 10 hours or so. So, Petopia, please work your magic!

Good luck! I can't bring myself to camp anything, I basically park a toon in an area and log onto it to fly through and then go do something else. XD Sitting there makes me go batty.

Good luck! I think mine took me two weeks where I did pretty much nothing but camp, but I was also being harassed the entire time. Here's hoping yours goes much better than mine did! <3

And good luck with your camp! Camping can make people go batty, myself included. I finish college in a week and then I think I'll start my own camp!

Its the macro people used to use for linking the reins, the superstition was if you could get the link to appear with the macro, someone nabbed TLPD that week. If it wouldn't link, he hadn't spawned yet.

I am pretty sure this theory was nullified now which is why the macro takes some digging to find.

Oh *that* macro. I remember that. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that doesn't work properly anymore.

The macro was a moot point, imo. It isn't just ONE TLPD a week. There are multitudes.

My friend and I and another got our TLPDs in the same week.

As my own advice, not sure if this was luck or something else, but most of my 6 TLPDs were gotten on Weds-Thurs.. Either Weds afternoon, Weds night, Thurs morning/afternoon/night.

It's amazing.

After so many odd years of playing this game and all the things I've seen and done, something as like camping and finding a super rare spawn still gets me nervous. I was able to nab a TLPD Monday afternoon. I'm so lucky no one was around, because my hands were shaking badly. Not to mention that my laptop I was using to camp the majority of the time has some rather poor FRPS. I'm so excited I don't have to see that area again!

All this makes me want to camp him! I cannot seem to get TLPD but I've gotten Aeonaxx (and aside from getting him, I have seen him A LOT) and Poseidus (Just seen and killed him once though). Let's hope I get tlpd also! GL with Aeonaxx! I'm sure you'll find him too! RAWR!!!
