So apparently I have tons of old hunter alts, three of which are low-level enough and old enough that they've never tamed a pet.

I've decided to pick this one up and play her a bit:

Basically I'm just looking for a suggestion for a matching pet. I prefer mammals (mainly canines, and kitties to a lesser extent) although I also like birds and dinos. Suggest anything that comes to mind, though; I want to level her without a pet until she's high enough to tame the right one, and see how long I can go without taming another. An exercize in self-control, maybe ;P

With her colouring, I want to suggest a fox. Either Ashtail or one of the Forest Stalkers from Redridge.

As far as long-term planning goes, have you considered doing a theme for your hunter's stable? How about an achromatic theme involving varying shades of black and white for all of your pets? I have this theme running for one of my own hunters and it makes for a very stunning ensemble!

Like Melentari mentioned, one of those Forest Stalker Foxes would make a very nice companion, given your Draenei's skin tone and hair color. I've included a pic of one, as well as other pets that you might want to consider:

Given that most of the pet choices I listed are dominated by cats and wolves, you could add some pets that all adhere to a single color of your choosing (perhaps your favorite color) to help give you more balance and variety in your stable.

Ha, my suggestion is completely unusable, because when I looked at your character, I thought of the black or green Jormungar worms.

So did I! But at level 13 there's not much I can do

I was debating between a black worg, the black fox & Shadowclaw. The black worg has blue eyes, like my Draenei. Shadowclaw was up in passing so I tamed him, and he seems to match pretty well. The foxes are beautiful but their weird noises always put me off

As it's just a little alt I won't be playing it enough to fill a stable, anyway--I have enough hunters as it is Tempting seeing that pet panel, though...

If you do level that hunter high enough I think Nuramoc would look great next to her.
