Blizzard has made some new phoenix models for Pandaria, only this time, they have legs and look like giant peacocks/macaws. *WARNING; Big Images!*









Any speculation of how to get them? How they'll move with them tiny legs?

Those are pretty cool looking imo.

Significantly better than the current phoenixes, which have no legs.

I like both I wonder if these "phoenixes" will be elementals like the others (have a feeling they wont be called Phoenixes in game)

The last two are my personal favourites. I love the corrupted look of that pale green one, and the dark grey/purple is lovely. I would camp for either of them in a heartbeat, or do whatever they need required.

I haven't picked a favorite yet myself, but omg, want.

They will most likely be Beast, and if we're lucky, may get tamable versions in the Bird of Prey family. Yes, I know it's controversial to put Parrot-things with Eagles and Hawks, but I think this video proves they fit in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AWCvay6vj0

Nope, you're not.

The coloration is a lot like hippogryphs! Especially the first and last. Oh, I really wish there was a bubblegum hippogryph mount.
Maybe a bubblegum peacock mount would be consolation.

Maybe, but the phoenix on live have landing animations so maybe they wont.

Why can't they be both pets and a mount? It would be far to other classes then, wouldn't it?

Yeah that gets me thinking that they wont be like the Pheonixes we get now. I think these are going to be beasts of some sort unlike the Pheonixes we get now that are bird-like elementals and all. Just a theory of course I could be wrong

Eh, I don't see why these couldn't become tamable BoP... It might actually get me to tame a BoP, seeing as I'm not a huge fan of any of the current ones.

I'm not sure how we'll get these, but I'm not sure I care, these are gorgeous.
