So, let's talk about these porcupine buggers.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm not really into them like a lot of people are, and that's fine, but their ability opens up so much potential. I may actually have to get two.

Firstly, in bgs an aoe stun is sick. Interrupt casters, stop multiple persuers all in one. It's gonna be great for high fights on the road like in AV and IoC.

Secondly, think of the tanking potential is huge. When I'm able to AoE quest, having this little guy pissing off multiple mobs then stunning them all for an nicely placed trap and multi shot. Its great!

As I said, not a fan of the look, but this little guy is gonna be feasting on a lot of tears >:D

I ''may'' get a porcupine. Thing is, they're too tiny, and they don't look menacing at all. Now, if you increase it to the size of a boar or a crab, then we're talking!

I do agree that they need to be bigger, though I am getting use to the small size. I just really like my little spikey blue "Mu". There are some large ones in the wild, so we know they dont look to bad bigger, about boar size would be right.
I like their ability, its going to be very handy. I'll probably keep mine as a ferocity though, since I really love my turtle for tanking.

I wasn't aware they had an aoe stun! How long does it last? That seems a little OP! HAha.

Fact. Porcupine has really strong pungent odor. The more you know.

It's really short. It's basically like war stomp, only on a pet.

Aha! That's pretty spiffy. New pvp pet activate!

They do not appeal to me for my main, but I think I will tame one for an alt hunter for sure. I hadn't known about their stun ability, so that makes them more appealing. To be honest though I think I got suckered in when Kalli started posting the sad eyes pictures

To me they look too gross...like naked mole rats with spikes coming out of them, but I'm wierd because I think the grub things are arodable. I just hope both end up smaller than the average pet.

Not really a fan of them, too cute for my tastes. Now a hydra.... That's a pet you could be proud of!

Then everyone could see what I was seeing!

So basically picture sad eyes porcupine standing next to sad eyes yak and you'll see where I'm at right now. >_<

What about sad eyed hydras? They need love too!

They do, but not from me. :/ I'm only speaking for myself personally here. I adore Mia's sad eyed pet pics, which cover everyone (including hydras and yaks). :)

I'm not really into the hydras myself although I do feel bad for all the hunters who have wanted them for so long. Yaks and Mushan are huge on my want list. I so hope they end up tameable for real! I've wanted a black Yak named Mayhem for so long but I've grown terribly fond of my little blonde Goldilocks. I hope the choice between the two is one I'll get a chance to make. And of course I desperately want Mushi Mushi to become a reality! :headbang:

Thought the thread was about quills....

They're cute, glad we got them for some variety, but I don't see myself taming one.

It is.

Not much more to say than quillstomp for the win. ;)

I think I will be needing one of these ferociously adorable critters ^_^

While I am a fan of bigger pets I like their small size. It'll be nice and sneaky for PVP.

Imagine the advantage of being that small in PvP. Players will be flailing around frantically trying to find what's hitting them, then get stunned by a shower of quills. If you're on defense in AV, you can have them hide in a bush or behind something, then jump out and take people by surprise.

Seriously. I can see them being easily overlooked as is, ad glyph of lesser proportion into the mix and it'll be like watching a critter take on a group of enemies! Lol, can't wait to see it.
