Both mounts are... extremely bugged right now XD
The phoenix flaps its wngs too fast when flying and the cloud serpent lacks a saddle and doesnt want you to be on its back.

Are they already learned...or...do you buy them?

They're nice but really buggy (atleast for me. XD)

The Phoenix is gorgeous. Way better than the ones currently in-game. Do they leave any sort of translucent trail when flying?

Leaves a faint light blue one I think.

Wonder if they plan to give them a walk animation?

Not really bothered by them not having it now and actually moving the phoenix on the ground slows down its wild and wonky wing animation.

YES! Now I can sing the Neverending Story Song while I ride my Cloud Serpent!

I adore those phoenix models. Where will they come from (excuse my ignorance please!)?

As for where they come from... I think one is from a guild achievement having to do with raids or dungeons? Maybe?

Also wowhead said there is new mounts to get, all you have to do is get exalted with some factions. This bird is one of them.

"New mounts, requiring Exalted with Shado-Pan and the August Celestials: Blue Shado-Pan Riding Tiger, Crimson Pandaren Phoenix, Green Shado-Pan Riding Tiger, Red Shado-Pan Riding Tiger, Thundering August Cloud Serpent."

I'm glad they're letting people test them on the beta (like you know, things are supposed to go) sounds like they're super buggy. XD

Too bad I can't play Beta because of that god awful bug freezing my game... I wannn sing the Neverending Story song on my Cloud Serpent (I planned on doing it!).
