Priests can learn a cosmetic glyph called the Glyph of Confession that teaches the ability Confession that can be cast on a friendly target and cause them to "confess." Thanks to Wowhead and a user named wolfman and Stonehearth, here's the 40 confessions that the spell causes:

1)For a long time, I thought the plural of anecdote WAS data.
2)I always forget to gem my gear.
3)I always wanted to be a paladin.
4)I ask for the Light to give me strength, but I'm not sure it really does.
5)I asked a friend for gold to buy my first mount.
6)I dabble in archaeology, but I'm just not that interested in history.
7)I died to an elevator once. Maybe more than once.
8)I don't know if Milhouse is a good guy or not.
9)I don't really have a clue who the Sin'dorei are.
10)I don't really remember you in the mountains.
11)I don't treat all of my mounts equally.
12)I fell off of Dalaran.
13)I find all these names with so many apostrophes so confusing.
14)I forgot the Sunwell.
15)I go into dungeons not to make Azeroth a better place, but just for loot.
16)I have "borrowed" things from my guild bank.
17)I have stood in the fire.
18)I haven't been in a barber shop in months. Goblins with scissors. Shudder.
19)I know he's a jerk, but there's something about Garrosh...
20)I light things on fire and yell BY FIRE BE PURGED when nobody is looking.
21)I never use the lightwell.
22)I once punched a gnome. No reason. I was just having a bad day.
23)I once took a bow that a hunter wanted.
24)I outbid a friend on an auction for something I didn't really want.
25)I really wasn't prepared. Who knew?
26)I said I had been in the dungeon before, but i had no idea what I was doing. It was embarassing.
27)I saw a mage cast a spell once and my jaw really did drop at the damage.
28)I sometimes forget if Northrend is north or south of here.
29)I sometimes use my mount to travel really short distances. I mean REALLY short.
30)I sometimes wonder if tauren taste like... you know.
31)I spent six months chasing the Time-Lost Proto-Drake.
32)I thought pandaren were a type of furbolg.
33)I told my raid leader that I was ready, but I wasn't really ready.
34)I wasn't really at the opening of Ahn'Qiraj, I just read about it. (thanks Stonehearth)
35)I went into Alterac Valley and didn't help my team at all.
36)Oh, I took the candle.
37)Sometimes I ask for a warlock to summon me when I'm really not that far away.
38)Sometimes when I'm questing, I want to be alone, so I pretend I can't hear my friends.
39)This is just a setback.
40Troll toes sort of creep me out.

Things I will admit to on this list: 2, 6, 11, 36 and shamefully 12.

Done 2, probably 5 (In all fairness, this was back in the day where mounts and skill was gotten at 40 and was like 500g.), 6, 7, 11, 12, 15, I want to do 20 on my mage now, 25 happens all the time, 29, 34, 35 all the time, 36, 40.

I do/have done: 5 (like Azu, this was pre-nerf), 7 -_-, 8, 9, 12 (usually mostly on purpose), I try to do 14 (but can't), 15 (sometimes), 16, 17 (not often!), 18, 25 on principle, 27 (though not in ages), 29 (who doesn't?!), 33 (ha!), 34 (BC baby!), 36 (naturally), and 38 (god...yes).

I love 20! And have had 23 done to me. -_- And giggled at a good many more. 35 is the one my priest keeps seeing....and I KNOW people do that one, rofl.

I will confess to having done the following:

7, 11 (I tend to get attached to one), 12 (usually intentionally), 15, 17 (luckily not THAT often), 27, 30 (I bet they do) and 36 (not just one candle either).

I think my favourite is number 14.

I love these and my priest WILL be getting this minor, I don't care what it replaces as long as it's not my shadowform-altering one.

7, 8, 11, 17, 18, 21, 29, 33, 38. 21's actually sort of iffy, I'll click it if I notice it and need it, but usually I don't see it or can't click around my raid-mates to get to it.

5, 7, 11, 12, 15 I guess, 17, 18 lol, 29, Sort of 31? It took me longer than 6 months but I didn't spend that much time camping, 34, 35 I've done before rofl. I spent the time pick pocketing things in the mines for lock boxes, 36 oh heck yes I took candle, 38 sometimes but not often, 40 absolutely.

I remember Frostheim saying "the plural of anecdote is not data" but did that originate with him? If he made that quote up, #1 could be a reference to him. I dont know the origin of it though

How...? Till the flying barrier was removed i didnt even know you could get to the outer ground of earth that dalaran was built on, in order to fall off o_O

Xak: There's a pipe in the Underbelly that leads out of Dalaran. As you can also mount up in it, people would often ride up on two seater mounts with a friend, and then dismount and get a parachute/bubble/bird form/slowfall, meaning they fall to the ground safely and their friend splats.

Thorim says something like, "I remember you...from the mountains..." at the beginning of his Ulduar encounter, it refers to the quest chain in Storm Peaks where you help him with stuff.
