Pet Idea: Mustelids

It appears I'm pumping out ideas for new hunter pets a lot lately. Anyways, this is a family that includes Wolverines, Minks, Weasels, Ferrets, Martens, Tayras, Stoats, Otters, Badgers, Honey Badgers, and the likes of that. They may seem like a silly family, but Mustelids are nothing to laugh at, they can be very efficient predators and can take out animals larger then them.

Here is an example of a Stoat hunting a Rabbit 10 times it's size: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNbqvqf3-14
As you can see, these animals are very funny but can be very deadly at the same time. Now, let's move onto abilities.

Image
Play Fight
- Instant
- 2 Minute Cooldown
You and your Mustelid have a play fight, increasing your attack and haste by 5% for 2 Minutes.

Or...

Image
Predatory Stamina
- Instant
- 5 Minute Cooldown
Every time your Mustelid is hit with a critical hit, it's Stamina goes up by 5%. Stacks up to 6 times.

Or...

Image
Sneak Attack
- Instant
- 3 Minute Cooldown
Your Mustelid disappears from sight, but then suddenly strikes without warning in a random location. When it strikes, your Mustelid deals nature damage to the target.

Or...

Image
Musk
- Instant
- 3 Minute Cooldown
Your Mustelid sprays Musk on any attackable target behind it. Once sprayed, the targets run away in fear. If the targets sprayed do not go into a body of water, they will fear any allies near them.

And that is my idea, for tamable Mustelids. If you have any suggestions, you can post them.

I think there'd be a lot of support for this if the models, other than otters, existed in the game. In fact I think there was a discussion on this recently. I remember a picture of a wicked-looking wolverine being posted. And not the type that looks like Hugh Jackman.

Yeah, I remember the Wolverine with the big teeth :). Was pretty funky looking.
Seeing as the Otter model could be used as a Universal model, I think it needs work. It's on the same skeleton as beavers and porcupines, which don't give it the right animations and looks really funky.

While they are nice abilities i don't ever see these making it to game
the musk could be more of canceling invisibility of any sort but even then pvp rouges would never stop crying
While the pet family is nice i think they would get some sort of silly reused ability.

I'm all in for playable mustelids, if we can tame foxes as combat pets which tend to be very shy in the wild and are actually more of a pest for farmers than an actual ferocious wild animal there is no reason why we couldn't have big, bad, angry badgers (and anything related to them) which are even dangerous as they are in our world, with some azerothian magic they could very well be the most bloodthirsty beasts we could ever dream of.
