Grand Expedition Yak Price Increase
The Reins of the Grand Expedition Yak has been hit with a price increase to 120,000. Most players will be able to purchase it at the discounted price of 108,000, which comes from the Bartering guild perk.

So the Yak now has 6 seats, portable Auction House, all types of vendors attached? Because that's the only logical reason for it to be at THAT price range.

Edit: Oh, and can it fly?

If it could fly, I'd demand that it would fart rainbows while doing so.

If it won't be easier to get money in this expansion, I'll never get that mount.
Haven't even been close to affording the mammoth mount...

And an NPC that randomly tells me how pro I am, that sits beside an eye-candy NPC that also joins in. I also demand a moose and pony that can also fly that are tied to the sides of the Yak with a long collar chain.

Wow... really? well chinese famers rejoice everywhere, people will need to buy gold to get stuff now

I hate those npcs.. they bloody complain, while I give them a free ride, they dont pay for gas (food for mamoth) then they bill ME for repairs.

I'd be with the rest of you guys flipping tables n such about this but it makes me interested to know exactly how MUCH gold we're going to be finding in MoP by the time its live, what with the black market already revealing what is currently to live, horrifically high prices n such. But yea, doubling the price is a terrible thing as it stands right now, i would of accepted an increase to 80k with only minimal contempment, but i really dont know how easy gold will be to obtain when the xpac is deemed shipping ready.

I have to say, Porrasoux and Gremlin have the right idea! Plus those suggestions make me giggly.

Glad I got this on beta at least thanks to cleaning off my live server before copying and then spending hours making new templates and selling everything to vendors then sending all the money to my copy. At least I can see what it WOULD be like to have it. Account-wide or not, 120k before rep is crazy. I need to be looting at least 10 gold from every monster I kill and quests giving 50 gold rewards while leveling so dailies give 75. Then with no daily limit, I can grind for 6 months after getting level 90 on all my toons and MAYBE be able to get the exalted rep price for one by cleaning out my account. (just tossing out numbers since they are way over what things actually give to be silly)

Indeed though, gold sellers rejoice. Susan Express will be back with a vengeance in whispers and trade chat. /facepalm

Sometimes I wonder if those gold sellers are Blizzard undercover. lol
And when they do things like this, it make me wonder even more.

Luckily there are reforgers in the new Shrines, so other than that, you can get the same functionality with both faction tundra mammoths (assuming they remain faction-specific) and both single-person yak mounts for less than half the gold of the expedition yak.

I'm going to guess by the first questline in Pandaria we're going to get an instant 100k gold. It all makes sense now.
