I was just doing daily quests in Krasarang Wilds when i ran into a group on the Krasari Hissing Wasp and randomly decided to tame one. To my amusement, after taming the wasp shrunk down to the size of the wasplings. I went to Zul'Gurub to see if the other wasp with the same skin would also shrink but it seems only to work with the hissing wasp. Somehow, it seems cuter when it is smaller.

I know the sizes are a little messed up for some mobs right now like the waterstrider but i am enjoying my tiny wasp.

Very cute And if it stays that size it'll be a great option for people that hate huge flying pets. Even smaller, it's still as big as a dog and still looks like something deadly.

Aww, it's like the spiny spiders who shrink to the size of a medium-sized dog. That's pretty neat actually.

I'm intrigued by the idea of smaller wasps. Thanks for pointing it out; might just try it out the next time I'm on beta. As you say though, it's probably just a beta 'bug'.

See, this is a GREAT idea. If it can be done for wasps, it can be done for other pets too! Even if this was an accident, it shows that it's possible for the exact same pet to be available in different sizes based on where you tame it. Talk about giving us fine-tuning options! I'd love it if there were "normal" sized porcupines and the tiny ones that already exist, for example.

It will probably get nerfed due to PVP, just like the tiny beetles from Nax.

Because, if it did stay this size, I would certainly bring one to AV...

Oh, I'm sure it'll be nerfed; it'd probably be too hard to maintain a bunch of differently sized pets. But in the meantime....I can hope that this reasoning of mine is wrong.

And I'll certainly be hoping it stays that size as well...

Which reminds me... considering the size of shale spiders, and the fact that they will be able to be ferocity, I might have a new pet for AV....

I'd still rather get the old huge size of my wasp back.

Queen Mindy is not Queen Mindy when she is small like she currently is. And what, all because some PvPers complained? I don't even PvP.

Oh man, I'd LOVE a small wasp! I like big pets as much as the next hunter, but some animals should be really itty-bitty at least in my mind, such as wasps, ant silithids, demon dogs and monkeys. It would be amazing if we could choose the sizes of our pets, and no, not with the glyph that forces ALL your pets to be smaller (my poor King Krush has been forced into a smaller form because I keep that glyph on Lazuli so that her lovely monkey doesn't grow into her mistress' size!).

Aww cute. I’m more for the massive boss wasps myself but this guy is cute looking. Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a pet scale option so we could choose the size of our pet to fit to our own liking? X) mini devilsaurs and giant seagulls. xD *pets mini wasp* :3
