"Feral" Worgen Set - UPDATED (Image Warning)

Okay, so I've worked for awhile in ModelViewer and put together a few sets I quite like. I'd love opinions on the two images posted in this thread--which looks better overall, and which looks more like a "wild" or feral worgen?

Here is the album!

The gear is shown on the right for each one--just WoWhead search if they're cut off :) The boots will be one of the "invisible" ones, like Ravenholdt boots.

I think there's quite a few really nice ones if anyone else looks for some "feral" gear. Sadly the majority of them require a "brownish" worgen to work properly, but my black worgen will work just fine with this set, so I'm perfectly happy (as this was the original set--and I'm not sure if I want to dye my wolf!):

The fist weapons are a WIP, and if I can find some unobtrusive daggers I'll likely swap down the road, assuming I continue playing this alt.

My favorite of the others in the album, and one requiring a brown-gray worgen, is probably this one (the hands need work--not sure what they look like in-game yet, as WoW is down):

Just bear in mind that the belt was some random belt; I'm sure something better can be found :D

Hiya!

I'm looking for suggestions for pieces that are invisible (where possible) and which look shredded, worn and insignificant otherwise. The lower the level requirement the better, and the character is Alliance. I'd prefer no bright colors, and his body is charcoal black, so completely black "shredded" gear might not show so well (maybe paler grays or washed-out browns?).

Theme I'm going for is a feral Worgen rogue, so his gear is going to show (unlike with a druid) all of the time. I want him to look like a proper werewolf :D

Thanks!

The "prospector" set has the type of look you're going for. It's darkish, but may work:

Hmm, nice! I am actually wearing the pants already (shoulda checked AH before I equipped--on an RP realm apparently these sell for 100s of gold  ). Will take this set into consideration--maybe these pants/gloves, and a harness-type chest?

Thanks!

There's also Ceremonial Leather, it's not a complete set, but could be mixed and matched with others.

For harness styles the Feral Harness has a red color that goes with those pants fairly well.

Awesome, thanks guys!

I'm trying to avoid the red, but we'll see what I can find. The Warbear Woolies (and lookalike) were something I was looking at, for sure.

Edit: Looking at something like this, but still need gloves & bracers (as spare as possible) and likely a one-shoulder shoulder set, or perhaps small ragged ones (Worgen males have ginormous shoulders : /): http://www.wowhead.com/compare?items=15065:15304

Ha! That truly is a minimal set. I'm not sure what you're using to look at gear, but I find the Icy Veins website is the most helpful to me for picking pieces. You can see which gloves are more spare looking, etc.

Just pick Rogue Item models (as opposed to armor sets)

WOW!!

I decided to go to RFC to farm for the pieces I want. It took 3 corpseruns to get the zeppelin ride from STV, and another 10-15 graveyard runs from Razor Hill to Orgrimmar to get there--once I got there, the portal kept lagging out (I would res, run against the portal, nothing would happen and a guard would one-shot me a split-second later lol).

Eventually I got in--after over an hour of getting there. The SECOND trogg dropped the chest piece! VERY happy.

Now to get the short-shorts :P
