This must still be somewhat of a placeholder list. It shouldn't have vendor mini-pets, who would buy the Bombay and Siamese cats or the Obsidian Hatchling on the black market?

Most of those don't seem too bad at all. More a way of circumventing a horrible grind with lots of gold, which you would have had to grind (or bought from a goldseller I guess )

I'd be more concerned if out of game items start appearing, because it would probably mean there's little chance of them ever being added back to the game once some players have had to pay a fortune for them.

I think the Argent Tournament pets are silly to be on there. Why not have the Vampiric Batling, which was a retired drop, instead of Tirisfal Batling, which takes about 15 days of easy dailies instead of 15,000 gold?

For me, since the mounts are still in game I'll have better luck in getting them as drops then being able to buy them off the Black Market.

Yeah, it's kinda silly. Spend your time farming gold for an item that may or may not show up on the BMAH, and post a bid that you may or may not win, or spend your time farming the actual item instead. Putting in retired items sounds like a better investment IMO.

I know this isn't the complete list, but as a mount collector, let me say this:

WHY WOULD YOU PUT -THAT- AS A LIST FOR MOUNTS? HALF OF THE MOUNTS IN THERE CAN EASILY BE SOLO'D BY NEARLY EVERY SINGLE CLASS BY THE START OF LVL90. YOU LITERALLY COULD WALK IN TO KAEL'THAS OR ONYXIA, AND PIMP WALK OUT WITH THEM DEAD?

Replace some of those mounts wih retired mounts. Atleast.

I would agree...if it wasn't for the fact that I have horrible luck with dungeon mount runs, and it's getting to where it's easier for me to just get gold and buy it than to keep constantly farming. Never seen Raven Lord, Ony, the Stone drake, Ashes, Blazing Drake, Flametalon, etc. Some people just have better luck than others, but RNG has never been one to favor me, so I'm looking forward to these.

I agree with the notion of re-adding retired mounts. I'm sick of the seeming special snowflake factor with people that have unobtainable things getting upset over people that want the stuff re-added (albiet in a really expensive or obnoxious to grab still) manner. xD

HOWEVER, just because you can waltz in and pimpslap the boss dead, doesn't mean that it'll drop the mount. Some people have ran for things for over a year with no drops...its a bit disheartening.

Im happy to see Slabhide and the two Wind Drake mounts up there. My shamans are extremely elemental theme'd, specifically for stone and wind alike (well, one is earth and the other is storm/lightning/wind) and oh my god, when my earth shaman saw slabhide drop his drake on her very first run through that place and she lost the roll, she was heartbroken.. absolutely heartbroken..

Being an elemental/resto, she cant solo reg SC by herself and the guild she's in wont even bother helping their own damned raiders in a ZA bear run unless a personal friend wants it too and they stop running it when the friend gets their bear, so i sure as hell aint going to get a reliable grinding buddy for it when that guild is the only group of 'friends' my earth shaman has on the server.

TL;DR: Yippy Slabhide and ATTRACTIVE (Not vomit green and sunburned red)! Wind drakes are on the black market!!

What vexes me is they put up the onyxian drake! Why?! That is a mount I've been working hard to get yet some one who has been playing the AH can just walk in and buy all my hard work like that pretty much! It just.....enrages me.

I have a plan to save up ALL the gold I make from doing older raids from Vanilla and BC and when I get it high enough then I'll go to a low population server and get ALL the mounts! (Yeah, it'll probably be ruined by the cross-realm zone thing, but whatever)

Auction houses (and presumably the BMAH) are still server specific, so it shouldn't be a factor

Uhm, what? How in any way is getting that much gold and actually even finding it listed on the AH a cakewalk? Someone that ran ony once and got the drake didn't have to "earn" it. :/

I know you've been running it (me too...on multiple toons) but I don't see why having another avenue (albeit its another RNG fest, gotta wait and see IF it pops up and then you have to hope no one with tons of gold notices it) is such a bad thing.

I got my fiery warhorses reins after two runs on my toon when she was 80. Yes I did the content back in the day, but once I decided to farm it that's all it took. I don't think I earned it any more or less than anyone else, and IDC if its on the BMAH.

I'm OK with rare mounts like Onyxian Drake being on there because there's not a guaranteed chance for them to be there, and they cost ungodly amounts of money, not to mention competition with other players.

It means they're unlikely to ever add it back to the game now. Every retired item that appears there is probably one item crossed off the list of things that could ever be used again.

A similar-yet-different item is added, perhaps.

Selling an item on the BMAH does not affect its drop chances for you in ANY WAY WHATSOEVER. So no, it's not 'buying your hard work.' It's 'using their own hard work to purchase a high-dollar item.' Anyone that uses bought gold in the BMAH will get slammed, and hard, as I'm willing to bet that they watch whoever drops that much gold in one place.
