Took some time, but finally found a way to tame it.

Make sure to have the Tame Beast glyph on when you engage Lady Vashj. As soon as you make it to phase 2, summon out your core hound, kill the Coilfang Elite, use the Hysteria, and then dismiss the core hound and tame the water strider. Cuts down the time so you don't get feared before taming is finished.

I believe people have been taming these for quite some time, glad you could get yours though.

Solo taming one is quite the accomplishment! Grats.

Woot a solo tame! Havent read anything that they could, it was all with other people involved, so this post gets a thumbs up for me ^-^ i wants one so bad in live D:!

Yes, I hope the Black Stalker becomes tamable as well, I'd like it on one of my alts.

Black Strider would make me very happy, i prefer being able to tame my beasties at their level or at the level i can finally obtain them (exotics that are lower then 69) unless it requires specific methods that would be best done at higher lvls such as Krush back in the day. Old raids are only difficult now for those at their designed lvl >_> Doesnt help too that I really hate having to rely on other people to get things done, i dont do well with dependency.

My plan is to tame a black waterstrider although the Black Stalker would make that task much, much easier to pull off.
