On live I use a blue beetle from Uldum for my tank pet, but i'm really liking this guy on beta. If only we could dual spec our pets... /dream....
Anyway, what pet are you guys going to use as a tank for questing/soloing dungeons?

Hmm... Likely my waterstrider for soloing, the water walk ability is one of my favorite things about playing a shaman, having it on my hunter it the best of both worlds! Or my Banthalos because it is by far one of the most gorgeous pets in the game. I'd be happy to stick with a crane, but right now their health is so bugged for me that I haven't gotten to play around with them much yet.

As for instances, I will likely stick to my Devilsaur or one of the new Fuu Dogs, perhaps a crane. I'm not a hard core raider, and for five man instances I dont worry about buffs too much.

Tanks I'll be using for questing, in addition to my trusty beetle: porcupine, raven, sporebat, chimaera, and water strider.

For soloing and tanking, going to use a dragon turtle. For everything else... I mostly use Krush. I quest with Krush, dungeon with Krush, etc. And then use other pets every now and then.

I'll still just use my blue beetle from Uldum if I need a tanking pet.

I'll probably still be using Panzer. And although I might experiment with a dragon turtle, Panzer will still be... well... Panzer. Although I *am* likely going to spec Arcturis as a tanking pet and at least try him out.
