So after this last patch, I took a look through wowmodelviewer and looked at the quilen flying mount. Much to my surprise, when i looked at the flight animation... it suddenly sprouted wings.

That, that im good with, i like those wings ^^ May we get a side, front, and underneath view if its possible please? I'd love to see how well they mesh with the body

So they're... magical wings? Actually, that's kind of awesome. I could live with that.

mmmm the side view is rather strange, they're a bit too ethereal imo, but in-game animations and lighting will definitely play a part in its overall design. Im thankful they didnt get the splice the flying gem panther got at least <3

So do these wings show while on the ground? If not, I think this may be the greatest ground-goes-flying mount yet. Except Tyrael's Charger because Tyrael.

Well the particles are still visible but the wings are not.

Huh, as long as I'm not forced to see the horribly folded wings. I still don't know whether I'll get the CE or not, my parents usually get each expac for me for christmas or my birthday, but the extra cash for a few extra things may be a no-deal for them.

Ooh, I like the idea of having the wings ethereal, looks much less out of place than the weirdly bent lion wings on the flying cats and such.

...Want for CE rising. I think I shall be very disappointed if I don't manage it this xpac (I haven't before, but, yeah).

oohhhhh, I like the ethreal wings they have!!! Somehow makes the bulky body look lighter....And the only show in flight and not on the ground? even better!!!! Looks almost like the wings come out if the stones on either side of the Tack.

And here's a nice high def one of the (finished?) model. Looks like a land-walking version of the flight mount. Maybe when you learn flying, you get green chi energy wings!

Aw, you don't like the wings? I'm totally in love. ^-^ I was going to go after the Nightwing, but I don't even care about it now.

This is a wonderful idea for a ground/flying mount!

Hmm I like it, I kinda wish they didnt have the armor on him but the wings are a neat addition

I thought that was what those glowing green things were for! Very cool, I rather like that.

I like that the wings only come out in flight, it's like how Invincible's wings stay tiny on the ground!
