I have been doing quite a few recolors lately so I am going to make a thread to hold some of my recolors.

Beginning with horses:
I love the horse mounts but I wish that there were more unarmored models so i made some into my favorite horse colors.

I love grey horses but the "white" horse that is currently in game annoys me a bit because of its mane. It is a grey horse but its mane is solid black. I think it looks better if the mane shows the grey fading.(The dark legs were bugging me so i went back and lightened them a bit. I wish i could accentuate the dapples more.)

Why must all the horses have white legs? It makes it a bit hard to make the legs all one color.

I LOVE palomino horses and was sad that the unarmored palomino is no longer available. If the original will not be available, i would not mind a new, more subdued shade of a palomino.

I love palominos, too! These all look really awesome and I think it'd be cool if there were a few more varied horse colors in the game.

If Appaloosa blanket/spotted horses became available...
I might have to faction change back to alliance ;o;

As celebration for my little Cloud serpent hatchling growing up, i decided to do a few cloud serpent recolors.

Sorry I only have two this time. I will have to make more after my battery has time to recharge(stupid power goes out at the most inconvenient times).

This one was originally going to have the correct spotting but the pyrite looked better this way. A shale spider based off of my favorite stone.

Somehow I missed the newer posts on this thread till now! This grey cloud serpent is just gorgeous! Perfect shading.

Coincidentally I've been playing with cloud serpents a bit lately myself, but don't have time to get any ready for posting yet. But I found that the main problem so far is the spines... it's very, very easy to oversaturate them for some reason. Its just the way they're coloured, I think.

So I have recently been playing Journey for the ps3 and have come to realize how much fun it is to play with another companion. I now see my pet as a companion accompanying on my journey instead of just a pet. The dragonhawk is the closest I can come to the travelers from Journey so I have a red dragonhawk(because I love traveling with red cloaks) and named him "Traveler".
I made these as a tribute to the game.

I somehow missed this thread..... I love the Haku cloud serpent! <3 And even though I usually don't care much for blue, the blue one is really gorgeous, too. I also really like your version of the red dragonhawk. It's prettier than the one in-game, in my opinion.

I would love to have the brown shale spider!

While not exactly a recolor I decided to include this one.
I like the idea of mastiffs but something about the face of the mastiff we have just does not click with me. I recently got the game "Tokyo Jungle" and have since come to like the Tosa breed so I wanted to see what a Tosa version of our current mastiff would look like. Just remove some of the jowls, add floppy ears, enlarge and reshape the head and neck a bit and elongate the muzzle and you have a Tosa. Also changed the color to a slightly more reddish tone.
