So I was Eagle Eye'ing about in Jade Forest and I saw the Jade Guardians (the green cats near the Jade Witch's hut)

I don't have a screen shot from before, but to me, they look like they combined Pogyean and Skarr's skin and painted it green (instead of just painting Skarr's skin green). What I'm saying is they're more shiny now...I think.

Can anyone compare this with a screencap from before they took down Jade Forest? I'm curious

They've always been shiny. To my knpwledge, all hunched cats have that shine effect.

There's quite a few gem cat colors in the game files right now on live, not just black. There's also amethyst, jade, amber, diamond, ruby, saphire, and turquoise. Hopefully one day we will see them all appear as tameable beasts.
