I've started to take screenshots off all the locations where I find eggs. Feel free to add to it

Oh, I wish I saw this before I shut down my computer! I'll add some locations tomorrow!

Eggs spawn at these spots but forgot to take pics:





(These two areas were the "rarest" spawn sites for me. Only collected one egg apiece from them.)

Arwyn if you can next time, please take the screenshot where we can see the minimap. Makes it much easier to find where you are showing these to be.

What are these eggs for? Is it something similar to Netherwing's eggs that gave 250 or whatever rep?

Yup.

While I appreciate making rep more difficult to gain (gotta have something to do!), Netherwing dailies were hell at level. It's gonna be insanity grinding eggs for cloud serpents for a long time. XD

I didnt care for doing the dailies at 70 myself (at 85 it was a breeze), but searching for those eggs at 70 and at 85 were both super fun for me at least. Great excitement is when you shout out EGG!!! and then divebomb from above to pick it up. Or finding those eggs in those minecarts, that was my favorite.

Definitely going to be bookmarking this when it comes time to do these dailies.

Is there no smoke or other effect? One thing that made it a bit easier for the Netherwing eggs to be found was the smoke coming from them...

Doesn't look like it, these look rather stone-like in all the screenies. D:

Nope, no effects. There just plain greyish colored eggs.



But they are placed in somewhat open areas making them easier to spot. Which is probably the trade off for not making them have any effects.

So, are these eggs lootable if you *don't* have a specific level of rep with them? Or are they not even visible/phased?

Well, I guess that will make them easier to see, have to look for myself when MoP goes live ^^

Would like to know this as well. But I presume you need to be lv 90 and on the quest at least (picking up your starter egg) to be able to pick them up

but seeing I am close to lv 90 I can experiment a little if I can find an egg that is.

Ohgawd I thought I had quit my egg hunting for good after hitting exalted with netherwing on my second 70!
Always looking…always screaming “egg” and franticly diving for it. (back them my server was overpopulated and it was a dogfight.)
I’m so dead because I just know I will be out there all day every day because I get tunnel vision.

I don’t have Beta so could you tell me:
How many/ how rewarding the quests are?
And is it 250 rep an egg or more/less?
