Cross-Realm Is Cross-World?

Interestingly enough, in Zangarmarsh, I met my first cross-realm player on the PTR.

.... from a US server.

I assume that this is because the PTR, you can play on both EU and US servers interchangeably, but it's something that made me a little bit excited.

I will, however, note that I was totally unable to whisper them. I am not sure if this is because of the naming convention, or if this is a bug... or a 'feature'.

This is from multiple servers being merged in low population zones. It's also why you were flagged pvp in zangarmarsh--there are so few servers for the PTR and beta, they are combining pve and pvp servers. The flagging will not happen on live pve servers.

Aha! That, at least, is a relief. I *hope*, anyway! ... having the PVP and PVE get merged is a little bit 'euh', though. :P I'm going to pray you're right about not getting flagged!

I think it's simply because there are few test servers (and are they all located in the US?). I suspect on live we won't see US/EU cross realm, and we definitely won't have those godawful pvp issues we have right now.

There are 3 PvE test servers (US, EU, KR) and 2 PvP test servers (US, EU).
