Ok so i was looking about and reading about skoll cas in cata my friend wants me to be full time RP with him and will ofc ill tame one of my fav babies
ANYWAYS wow-wiki'ed skoll and a side note said

In Norse mythology, the aspects of the sun and moon are pursued through the sky by two wolves. Skoll is the wolf that pursues the sun and, at the onset of Ragnarok, will finally catch and devour it.

Skoll's brother, Hati, will do the same to the moon.

So i thought does Skoll actully have some lore behind him or are people just using this? cas if im gonnabe a rp'er i might as well have the common facts right about my pets

Also i was thinking maybe doing a Skoll and Hati WoW picture like Hati being the new spirit beast? who cares if its a wolf model it suits the mythology! :<
So if anyone could prove me with lore on skoll and maybe hati if he has came up or do you think i should just go off myth?[/center]

No lore for any of the spirit beasts except for Loque, and not even his story is very detailed.
If you like the norse lore, go for it. If you don't, make up your own story, which is pretty much what RP is about.

I do believe that Skoll might have been a escaped/failed Titan experiment they did on a Worg.

...But that's just me. A lot of Northrends stuff seems to come from Norse Mythology.

Yeah as far as I know there's no lore related to the others. Skoll's name comes from Norse mythos, but a lot of stuff in Storm Peaks does; most of Ulduar is a reference to that in some way or another and many of the names there are too.

Like Saturo said Loque'nahak is the only one with 'lore' (and that's just that he's the mate of the leopard-goddess in Zul'Drak). The spirit bear has nothing either, nor does Gondria (except perhaps that a number of pieces of gear possess her name).
