New Character Creation Preview Gear
Blizzard has finally finished adding the last of the new character creation gear used in the preview screen. The set used on Hunters is very classic and wanted to know if it is in game yet or our these items yet to be added?

I don't recognize any of those pieces, so I'm assuming they might be coming in Mists of Pandaria. Looks good for the creation screen though, I agree it's a nice classic appearance.

That's a classy looking set right there! Reminds me a lot of the Soldier's Set/Veteran's Set/Felstone's Set currently found in the game.

I really hope this will be available at some point for players. It just really has that hunter/ranger vibe to it and I love it!

the "cape" without having a cape is a total seller to me Makes me think ROBIN HOOD!

and a red panda in a robin hood cosplay in game? *squee!* Male panda would be fabulous, too! LOL

The top reminds me a lot of Fungus Shroud Armor. A blue-coloured version would be Starsight Tunic.

So new chars will get new gear in MoP?

I always thought it inappropriate to start an epic adventure in rags!

Actually, no... the 'faux gear' is supposed to just give players an idea of what a well-kitted character will look like; they've said they're not giving them new starter gear. At least that's what I read; doesn't mean they won't change their minds.

*nod* What I believe happens is that when you choose a class to play, they will preview your character in an appropriate looking outfit, but once created you start in the regular "rags".

You know, i think thats the exact same item graphic, ive been flipping between tabs looking at them and comparing little details and it looks exactly the same

Oh you're right. There are subtle differences, almost as though they took that and added some details, but it's certainly almost the same. I don't think I've ever seen that piece, then again I mostly pay attention to mail items.

Yeah, I should've mentioned that it looks like Ironforge Mountaineer's armor.
