Although I've been lurkin on these boards awhile, I've just recently starting posting. I couldn't help myself. You all seem so friendly and helpful, and it's the kind of community I would like to be a part of.

Seeing as you all are helpful and understand the tribulations of being hunter, I thought I could ask for some opinions. Like anything in my life, I debate a decision relentlessly before making it. Also, like my real life, I'm incredible loyal to favorite things.

Here's what I need help with deciding. Which pet out of my stable should I use as a "main pet". I don't care about mini-maxing or being the ulti-best hunter, so dps, tps and the like are meaningless in this decision. What is meaningful in this decision, is what "fits". I want to choose the pet which best suites "Nevyc, the orc Beastmaster".

A bit about Nevyc: He won't use bows and arrows (thinks they are two elf-like). Rides a motorcycle and would use this (Johnny Cash's verison of Rusty Cage) as a theme song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhEmwgzmMsM
I want to be one of those hunters that is asssociated with his pet when he is seen

Finally, this is the stable of pets (posted in the order I obtained them):

Humar (Black Lion) -Chakul (bad-ass name)
Devilsaur (black) - Jecache (named after Johnny Cash)
Chimera (purple) -Hendrox (named after Jimmy Hendrix)
Gondria (spirit beast/tiger) -Lita (named after Lita Ford)
Wolf (Old Cliff Jumper) - Cimino (named after the director of the Deerhunter)

Any help for those that get what I'm trying to do would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time and opinions!

Devilsaur would seem fitting IMO.

More seriously, raids go devilsaur, otherwise use what you want.

When reading about your guy the first thing that came to mind was you having some bigass rottwieler. but wolf is closest. But for the fact you went beastmaster Id use the Devilsaur. Theres a reason you have to be a BM to get him

Thanks a ton for your quick responses. I've also asked (or rather nagged ) my Girlfriend, who also plays WoW, about this. She has the same opinion as Redith, regarding the Rottie. I think that is why she says Old Cliff Jumper (wolf).

if you care a great deal about color of pets i would say you could go to dun morogh for timber the white worg hes the one in my avatar and sig but hes my fav thats why i suggest it that and wolfes have the highest dps

Not necessarily. They are only the best pets for surv and marks hunters since the pet's ability boosts the hunter's dps.

When I was readying your post the first thing that came to mind was Clint Eastwood looking over to his Orangutan and saying "Right turn, Clyde."

To the point though....I would personally say Humar. Black wolf for a gun wielding, biker orc just seems right to me.

Yep, this is the kind of attitude shooting for (pun intended). Oh, and I do care about the "skin". It's why I choose the wolf (OCJ) and other animals I did! He looks like my Dire Wolf Mount. I figure if I go with him, I'd make some sort of thing, instead of him getting rode on, he gets to ride in the sidecar.

The devilsaur seems to fit you best, but other than that, pick the one that feels right. You'll know it when you get that feeling.
