Appearance Buffed Pets in MoP

The ones that are tamed, are their skins safe (the ones that don't lose it upon death)? I didn't know and haven't heard if there was any signs of buffs being purged or changed, perhaps due to the ability to change their talents.

I've seen no purging on my boar. I haven't had him die (went to try it out but the PTR realms are down ATM), so there's still the chance that he won't have it after being ressed, but as far as I know they haven't changed anything.
