So, we get our new pets, talents etc. on 28/29 of this month.

Oh man, I should have made that bet with a guildie. He was convinced it would be today.

Yes, this will be the Theramore event along with all the talent changes and such.

Hmm, can anyone think of anything that we might need to do before the patch hits? I just want to make sure I won't forget something that will be unavailable or unattainable after, though I can't think of anything off the top of my head.

Kall, just a curiosity, why do you refer to Fen Striders as Spore Walkers?

Spore Walkers are a "class" of Sporeggar people. O_o

Spore walkers are all so the name for Fen strider. It's the species name.


Edit I mean Fen striders are a type of Spore walker.

When I slip into old habits (bad, bad Kalli!), I use the terms interchangeably, but only these beauties are actually fen striders.

Since Fen Striders are the first sporewalkers you encounter when entering Zangarmarsh (short of flying in), they leave quite an impression, making it easy to forget that "fen strider" isn't the name of the species.

I have no doubt in my mind that this is part of why I will be taming one of the Fen Striders as my sporewalker-water strider.

Ditto with Kalli. I use different names for them often, but they can be known as Spore Walkers, Fen Striders, Marsh Walkers, even Tripods (they're listed as such in WMV). xD

And thanks for the colour-changer heads up. I think I'm set with my baby Goblin and her camo raptor, hopefully everyone else grabs the ones they want just in case they become grandfathered.

I'm also going to run Scholomance for the Bloodmail set because I'm not sure if it will be retired once MoP revamps the instance. >_> (I know that doesn't necessarily go with this patch, but it's still close, hee).

Yeah, to be safe if you want the Scholo sets or Ancient Bone Bow...get crackin'.
