Will the new pet families be available to tame if there skins are already in game?

Yep. You can grab basilisks and the Zangarmarsh water striders (spore walkers). The other families aren't available outside of Pandaria.

I'm so going to get myself a basilisk. I just need to figure out which pet to let go.
