As many of you know, I've often wanted TLPD. Some of you may even remember, the one time I did see the TLPD after months of camping, some douchenozzle that already had the mount swiped it from me. I had given up hope after that. I know many of you that have known me since I began here probably remember how broken hearted I was and how I lost the will to camp.

It seems fate has...smiled upon me and my patience....

My guild had a night for guildies to choose what we were gonna raid that night. I won the roll so I chose Ulduar. I had NEVER finished Ulduar before. I only went as far as the cat lady but we never killed her. It was just to tame the black hunched cat back when they became tameable. So my guild, we not only went through there, but they also got me the achievements to get me the protodrake for 10man. I was ecstatic!

It was 3am-ish when we got done and I just....had a feeling. Something in my gut told me to stay in Storm Peaks. To just go to my normal spot just above the frozen lake. So I did. I camped there while playing ME3 multiplayer and rping. Around 8am, NPCScan blared at me. Lo-and-behold, TLPD was right above me! I had to fly after him. He was quick! But I managed to kill him and he's finally no longer lost. He's home....with me.

I was shaking and crying cause I was so happy I finally got him. Forgot to take a screenshot but I was clicking my heels. I got him on Jetfyre, rather than Jessibelle, but that's okay.

It was the biggest heartbreak ever. Two of my friends were there with me and normally I dont cry over video game stuff like that but that one just made me crack.

I actively try to avoid rare spawns I've already killed unless they have something worthwhile for me to get which typically means only Cata-level spawns but I'd never grief someone over a mount drop like that. That's a low thing to do.

It indeed is. I'd never do that to someone. There's being an ass and then there's just being a total douchecanoe.

I have TLPD on 2 chars, one was a lucky catch, the other a hard camp session

He is a lovely mount, same as all the other proto drakes (probably my favourite flyer model in the game, love both my Ulduar drakes too).

Thanks Sar! He is quite lovely once you actually have him. He's quite loyal too. Maybe he was lost cause he needed someone to take care of him.
