Okay, so here's a question that I've had for a long time. After reading somewhere an article about "easily transferring wealth" to other servers, by using BoA pets, I was curious. Here's what the article said:

- You have the Hyacinth Macaw on your main.
- You want to get loads of money.
- You make an alt on another realm, and cage and sell the macaw.
- You receive the money and can either send it back to your main via a server transfer, or start up a new economy on the new server.

My question is... what's preventing a fifth step:

- Rinse and repeat.

Either pet prices will tank, pet collectors will become extremely rich, or both! Seriously, can I just make alts and put all of my rare pets on the AH, delete the alt, wait a few days, and repeat for infinite moneys?

Maybe caging the pet removes it from ALL of your characters' collections? I don't know if this is the case.

Yes, it does. It's the same collection on all your characters, not a duplicate one.

At the moment, they're taking out the ability to cage *caught* pets and sell them. As far as I know, they're keeping in the ability to cage up others and sell them off. Or at the very least, exchange them. Don't know about putting thme on the AH.
