The patch has brought many surprises for me. I've found, for example, that I utterly adore my Destruction Warlock. She's violently burning when she's in combat, how cool is that?! I've found that I love the quilen skeleton and that the CE mount is much cooler than I'd thought it would be. But the most surprising…

I just adore the Quilen mini pet.

That's odd for me. See, I hate the quilen mini pet. The eyes are terrifying, the face is just strange, and it's wearing a tube around its neck with fur on it. It's also one of those annoying pets that sits down randomly, which makes it stop following you. That bugs me. A lot.

I love him so much. He's just the right size, the perfect color, and he looks so soft and fluffy. The animations are heart-stoppingly adorable. Even his sit is cute, with that proud quilen stance. I can't make myself summon other mini pets, I always just summon him.

…Well darn it. I was so certain this'd be a pet I hated. xD

Are the Mists DDE & CE extras already released onto our accounts?

Yup- you'll have the mount and pet in the mail. I bought the expansion the day of the patch and had it in the mail when I logged on.
