So the patch hit yesterday and I KNOW many of us went on a taming spree. Or at least tamed SOMETHING!

What did you tame??? What are your thoughts???

I tamed a basilisk and a water strider. The basilisk I chose to tame, OF COURSE, summoned angry helpers in Deepholm. After getting smart fast to execute the tame, I must admit disappointment at not bonding to the guy. Sad times!

However, I DID bond to Lunaria:





Lunaria POUTS when I'm just standing in Dalaran or am not actively doing something. SHE POUTS!!!! I guess she doesn't like staying still?

I had no intention of taming a basilisk until I saw Stheno ...

I haven't been on yet, But, I'm going to go out and tame my Waterstrider. I bonded with him in Beta. Mostly, cause he act hilarious, and his Water walking is Useful XD

All four of my hunters on Nesingwary ended up with basilisks, but my big tames were:

Vigil, server first Hellgazer for Ayana:


Pulsar (Ironeye the Invincible) for Camira:


Hedorah (The Black Stalker) for Dejanira:


And Komodithrax (Deatheye) for Dejanira:


I gave the server first Scale Belly away to a guildie (it wouldn't have felt right to me to have two server first rare basilisks) when I saw him before picking him up the next time he was up on Jemmi, but I don't have any after tame pics of that or of her second basilisk.

I wasn't going to tame anything this patch, but curiosity got the best of me.



No clue if I'll keep him/her/it!? or not but I figure there's no harm in having... it... for now. I have a free stable slot anyway, not counting the 4 on reserve for Mists. I tried a basilisk but, as expected, I didn't like it a bit. XD;

I also stabilized my color-changing hyena Jason.

And of course I knew I wasn't going to survive the patch without taming Marticar...



And by that I mean I didn't see it coming until he had been up on both my servers in the same location - and only then did I take the hint that he IS Blasto.

(He's on a mission in that pic. I didn't ask because I don't want to know.)

Looks like Drakkari Raptor Mount is up for grabs on live from Drak'Tharon Keep, and it's pure hawtness

Oh my gosh.. I HAVE to go tame one of those raptors now haha! I've always wanted to have a raptor mount with that skin, but now I can have it as a pet * squeee*
My mains stables are full, but fortunately I made a second hunter a few weeks ago; more slots yey -Thinking of getting the black water strider while I'm at it too!

Oh man, I completely forgot about those raptors! Must tame!

I picked up a strider yesterday

Is it just me, or did cower always make the pet do a death animation? Seeing the strider do it is hilarious

This is new with the patch. And well timed, too, since sporewalkers have fantastic death animations. <3

Oh, right, and this is Shrubs, my trolls new basilisk.



I found him with his head stuck in a bunch of plants so.... thus the name Shrubs. <_<
