So I've decided to confirm the fact that I really am a glutton for punishment and have been camping Aeonaxx for over a week. I've been pretty much all day camping since I have my laptop with me at work and just move the mouse every 15m or so to avoid going afk. Work is busy from about 7am to 10am so I can't log on until after 10 but aside from the drive home and an hour to walk my dogs after getting home in the late afternoon, I've been camping pretty much non-stop.

Aside from being logged into WoW so much I've gotten quite a bit of stuff done. When I'm downstairs I can clean, do a Yoga dvd, do work stuff, read, watch TV, etc and if I go upstairs I just put my wireless headphones on that work throughout the house. I can't usually stay awake past 2am and by then I give up and go to bed.

Most days it's been a pretty consistent camp from 10am to 1am with a few quick breaks in between. This has been going on for about 8 days now. I've missed him twice, once he spawned at 7pm server while I was helping my sister at her house (who recently had surgery for cancer) and the other time he spawned at 9 am but I was unable to log on at work until 10 am. No sign of a blood seeker.

I know people have camped much longer than me but this is a dead server and I've been pretty hardcore about it. I thought I'd have him by now. I'm getting so sick of Deepholm and if I don't find him in the next week I don't think I can keep this up!

My biggest piece of advice, if you are going to be away from your computer make sure you have your volume on loud enough to here it. Nothing is worse than having him spawn right on top of you and you are afk for it.

Camped it for mooooooooooooonths and months and finally bagged it yesterday, randomly logging on to my main. Good luck to you!

I never would have guessed how grueling this camp is. I'm trying to keep myself entertained with things around the house. I'm even stooping to teaching my dogs useless pet tricks. I've taught them shapes since they were puppies. They know square, circle, triangle, and rectangle. Now I'm trying to teach them Hexagon. They keep thinking it's circle, lol! And since this camp started I've spent far too much money shopping online! Zappo's for shoes and Amazon for kindle books. Someone stop me!

Try getting a book and sitting at your PC. That's how I did it. XD

If it helps i got mine at 02:37 on the western pillar.

So effin mad!! I had to go to sleep last night but my bf stayed up and it spawned like 2 hours after I went to bed. It was in the Quartzite Basin area and there were two other campers so he had no time to log onto my account for me and get it. He didn't even want it, he was just there parked while playing another game with his friends. At least one of us got it but damn!!

ETA: after listening closer and hearing more than "he has the mount and I don't" he wasn't even actually camping. He had logged out and was playing another game with friends and he logged back in to fix an add on when NPC scan went off. He said he was actually in the temple when it went off. I'm trying not to be mad but it's hard!

I admire campers, i can never do it! I can spam a dungeon 100 times but just sitting there is icky

Yeah camping this bastard sucks, but at least it was your boyfriend that got it and not some total stranger thats been camping for less than an hour.

TY and I definitely am glad he got it over someone else. He said there was a mage flying to it as well but being a Paladin who was in Ret spec at the time his 20% speed increase got him there faster. And he took a screenshot during the fight were he typed "this should have been yours, Babe" in chat. That was really sweet!

I just want to hurry up and get him so we can leave this dead server! I can only imagine how hard the camp will be on KJ, a high pop cut throat pvp server. Hopefully I find him before we have to transfer!

ETA: Speaking of speed increases, make sure to have the Pathfinding glyph in one of your slot. The 10% increase could make a huge difference.

Yeah I am on Stormrage, extremely high population. The only time there are less than 2 to 3 people camping each spawn point, is around 4am - 6am server time. You basically just have to hope and pray. I have actually been thinking of transferring this toon to a dead, low pop server and then back again after the catch.

Still. Camping. Still.

It's coming up on 26 hours of straight camping in shifts. Nothing! /sigh

Over 36 hours now! Still nothing. I never expected this camp to be so grueling!

After over 40 hours of continuous camping by either my bf, myself, or both of us, last night I just had to to take a break. I was going crazy. So we both logged off and watched a movie then passed out exhausted.

I have no idea if Aeonaxx spawned or not. So far this morning I haven't seen any of the other campers I've made friends with to ask. I'm not going to ask in general chat as I've had a few douchebags outright lie to me and tell me it just spawned or was just killed so I should just go do something else for now. Yeah, OK! I know they were full of it because both times my bf and I had been camping for hours and even if we didn't get the kill we wouldn't have missed his spawn.

On a whim I temporarily moved my lock to a very low pop server. Org was ghost town in the middle of the afternoon, lol. If I see Aeonaxx and miss him I can start camping him over there. I'm torn between camping full time there or sticking it out here on CR. It may have been for nothing but it was just a matter of $25 so whatever!

Even if he had spawned, there's no use beating yourself up about it. Why? Because there will always be more spawns! And, when the right time comes, he will be yours. I've never seen such dedicated camping though. 40+ hours? That's insane. I've never camped anything that long before all at once. But don't worry about taking more breaks! It's healthy to take breaks and, if he spawns during your break time, it's not your fault. You never could've known when he'd spawn. I hope you start seeing more Blood Seekers though, because that at least gives you a safe 6 hour break!

TY, Everdeen <3! We needed the break so it was nice! I keep telling my bf he doesn't have to camp with me so much but I think he feels bad that he got it without even really wanting it while I had been camping hardcore for over a week for it. And the 40 hours wasn't either of us awake at our computers for that long it was shifts of him, me, or both of us. I need my beauty sleep and even Aeonaxx isn't going to keep me from getting 6-8 hours of sleep a night! ;D
