Wish taming counted as "killed" ~ Obi

D'awww, I don't think anyone here would judge you if you decided to finish out the achievement.

And I agree, I think taming them should count toward the achievement.

I actually have that achievement thanks to a dk on my old realm who just camped in Sholo and killed the rares while you tried to tame them >.>

Well, that achievement is account wide, so you can kill them with another class, if that can make you feel better. ^_^;;

I've killed them on my hunter. Death in WoW is really nothing more than a temporary set back. My own pets die during combat all the time and then are res'd safe and sound.

I can't kill tameable rarespawns either. I absolutely don't hold it against hunters who do, I just can't myself. I usually either take screenshots and move on or tame them just because and release them a little while later. .-. *is weird*

Well I returned to “finish the job” today, found Loque up looking at me. Did a /who, saw another level 85 hunter in zone. Sent a tell asking if he needed, Loque. Got the reply, “Nope, got him, waiting on a friend.”

So I killed him, hardest killing of pixels ever! Immediately get a tell from the same hunter, “What the heck, why did you kill him? I told you I was waiting on a friend to come and tame him.”

I felt about this big, but he had left out that key bit of information when I asked. Which probably meant he was right there and I didn’t see him. We talked it out and parted on good terms. But so glad to have that one off the books. Went back this evening and crossed off Aotona. So just leaves the giant lizard and this one will be done.

EDIT so not to bump thread: After a marathon camping session with some girl friends, I finally found the dino and finished the achievement. /DONE
