This morning saw Darkmoon Rabbit up in his cave, for those that don't know he's a world boss, with MoP level hit points (173 million ish). I'd read that it was possible to kill him with much running back from the graveyard so I decided to give it a try. For the first time ever I spammed trade/general and managed to get over 30 people interested in giving it a try. Took a few tries, only one person left .. gained a few more. We finally got everyone to stand in the back of the cave, so when feared we wouldn't go far enough to reset. With top DPS being 15,000 (since MoP level .. LOTS of missing) it took awhile, I only died twice myself the poor melee were getting munched on quite bad. Everyone on the raid got That Rabbit's Dynamite! and one lucky guy got Petz. Sadly wasn't me ... Will have to try again someday.

We tried killing him on skullcrusher server but now he is just evade bugged.

Keep everyone in the back of the cave and uses healer skills that reduce damage taken to keep tanks up who can taunt him back in to the cave. My group managed to kill him,but no pet for me either. Tho...to be honest it kinda scares me anyway
