Shade wrote this on my mount journal and it made me realise just how many people actually have mount journals. (I'm going to take some high-and-mighty credit here and take a second to mention that, back when I played my old hunter instead, I was the first person to make a 'mount journal' as such. There was camping threads and what not, but no actual 'journals' for all mounts. So it's all my fault!) And, well, I realised that sometimes I wanna stick things on my mount journal that are about more than just mounts, and at the moment I've been thinking about joining Blogspot to create my own 'everything in WoW' journal for MoP. But I think it would be an amazing idea to have a sub-forum dedicated to people's journals for anything WoW related... or anything they wanted!

I think this would be a great idea with MoP round the corner. So much to do and so much to share and talk about!

I think this could be quite a good idea. I often find myself wanting to ramble about pets, mounts, and other WoW going-ons that would fit well in a journal, but wouldn't stand alone well. I think this could open up a lot of fun options.

Is it bad to support my own thought? o.o

We had this request a few months ago with all the pet appreciation threads. What we ended up doing was instead creating an index post to list all of them and stickying it. We could easily do the same for journals. Someone would have to create and maintain it of course. Do you think that might work?

Come to think of it, the art forum could probably use an index sticky to list everyone's personal art threads. I think someone (Cow?) suggested that some time ago but it was forgotten about.

Anyway, just an alternative idea.

I think the point was more to have a place to put journals, as there don't seem to be many that would really… fit. I suppose WoW general? From what I got, it would be so we could have journals not just pertaining to mounts/pets but also just random WoW stuff.

A place for journals, and to combine all of the journal-ish threads of people into one spot is roughly the other half of the idea, instead of them being scattered over the site.

Ah I see! This kind of thing is really Mania's decision, but when she's available (she isn't right now) I'll call her attention to it.

I think it would make sense to have general purpose journals in the wow general forum.

Eee thank you! I'm thinking of making a Blogspot account for general WoW-chat, but it would be great to have, say, a seperate area just for our journals!

No I wanted a new thread for everyones "tame" threads. As I was sick of the spam and I did get it but it must of been like months after tho. Think I got a lot of hate too XD
