Oil Covered Sabre?

Anyone ever tame the oil-stained wolf from WoTLK? I was in the MoP beta and noticed some of the new cats had a similar look right after you first arrive to Pandaria. I wonder if these cats will be tameable with this skin via bug like the oil-stained wolves were. With realid and cross-realms being more popular, I think it'd be easy to find a buddy who's alliance/horde and tame these rare-looking pets!

I've heard conflicting reports, but it's my understanding that Blizzard has "fixed" the bug-taming of all appearance modified pets, including the flaming boar, the oiled wolf, and the worg with the sword in its head.
AFAIK there's no way to bug out the sha-infested tigers to keep their sha appearance. I don't think there's any way to make Kung Din keep his collar either.
(although if I'm wrong, I'd love to know how, because that collar is the bomb.)

Please please please please please bring these tames back :< so happy I got my oil worg but a few bad apples always ruin the bunch.
