Of course, his first run net him that Archmage staff... which my WARLOCK would have probably loved.
(But I don't mind too much, because my warlock loves his scythe)

So tomorrow I'm dual-box-three-manning this with a friend until I get it. Yeaaaahhhhh!
Who is willing to bet I get EVERY OTHER HAT first?

That's sweet, but he's not dead! He wasn't even there in the Horde version of the scenario, so he was not in the city when the bomb hit.

If he had, though, man, that would have been a heck of a rallying cry. >_<

*shrug* He wasn't there in the Horde scenario, which goes directly by his doghouse, so his omission is really likely to be intentional.

There is evidence of him having opportune times to escape though, as well as him just not being in the scenario.

I switched my philosophy to give up on my white hat (omg that typo, haha) and focus on my Infinite Horde Firework -- we're 2-manning the instance while a third is dual-boxed to just sit at the entrance.
Well, figures, now my priest got his hat -- so we switched to my second hunter, got her gun (a MASSIVE upgrade from her crafted 365, isn't that just sad that she just never got a better ranged to drop). Also, now we're completing Guild Scenario challenges this way, extra gold!

I won't be too heartbroken if I don't get this firework, I have stacks of the un-infinite ones. But I'm such a hoarder gaaah.

Geez, for a once-ever event with an obscured storyline and very little at all to offer the average player in gear, you'd think they could afford to be a *little* more generous with the fun item. I've seen lots of complaints about the drop rate of the firework. I suppose we'll be doing some more scenarios today to see if we find one.

I thought this event was going to have a lv 90 version...at least its part of the scenario achievement for lv 90. Will the loot table be different at 90 then? or will they just be upgraded versions of the current drops?

Loot table will be 100% different. It will be the same as any other scenario--points and a chance at a dungeon blue.

As for limited items, that's par for the pre-launch course. *points at Tabard of the Protector and Haunted Memento/Argent Dawn Tabard/Argent Dawn trinkets/Undead Slayer's gear* Brainfarting on what was available for Cataclysm beyond the stuff from the 5-man event bosses, but I'm sure there was something. I'd actually have been cranky if they hadn't included those limited items, as I collect the hell out of the ones I can get my hands on.
