So I have been after this beast for months now and managed to find it dead once. Now today I finally saw it again for the second time. I was so excited when I heard the NPCScan go off but when i targeted the drake it was already dead.
The paladin that was standing over the corpse did not even loot the drake, mounted up and flew off. I asked if he would at least loot the corpse so i could skin it and his replay was "Nah I'm not going to loot it because i already had the drake. I just felt like killing it." I was just so annoyed that i had to come vent.
Maybe I can get a little forum luck and finally catch him later. Third times the charm(hopefully).

i really hate people like that. Like, people who own the drake that camp for their own purposes is bull and griefing >_<

Though in all honesty, yes the paladin probably may of killed it just because he could, TLPD doesnt have the option to be skinned. So if someone kills him and loots, he remains up for the entire duration between death and natural despawn. It could of been his first time slaying the creature and he decided to be an ass when you whispered him. I really hope he spawns soon and that you get the drop on the dragon first

Them feels. *hugs tight* I've been there. I quit camping him after months cause the same douchebag BE hunter that griefed me on Lisaara and Taluwen while I was camping Terrorpene stole TLPD from me on Jessi. I had camped for months. He finally spawns on me. Bastard swoops in, tags him, and kills him. Worst part was he already had the mount too.

How incredibly rude! I’m so sorry to hear that. *hug* sucks that he gets the mount “twice” for no good reason while you have to camp. I hope you can find him soon. Good luck!

NGL I wouldn't be surprised if they said that just to piss you off and did in fact loot it and had needed it.

I had the same during my 2 week camp. I have a wireless headset so I can freely move away from the computer do do other stuff while camping or run a second char all over Northrend to kill the other rares. After a week and a half some druid keeps flying around me all of a sudden and tells me to get lost that it his his spot (while I have been sitting in the same spot for over a week) so I tell him no and he leaves.

Then I decide to land and eagle eye the other spots. Completely forgot I cranked the volume up so I get a near hart attack when it goes of XD. I see TLPD pop up and hes still alive and not in battle, so I rush like crazy to the ulduar spot and I cannot for my life find him anywhere so I freak thinking he spawned at bors breath and that druid just barely left when the scan went off. so rush back thought the engine of the makes route, already thinking I lost the spawn to the druid.
So I check and fly around like a spastic monkey around bors and cant see him anywhere. Then I move back to my spot to start flying the brunhill/ ulduar route again when I see TLPD casually flying from the little village.
I was quite high up in the air and TLPD was quite low so I actually started screaming "DIVE DIVE" while rushing over spamming Arcane shot almost went splat because I couldn't find my slowfall lager. But in the end I got him/her. seriously I dont think I ever had so much stress in 5 minutes ever. Not even the first camp on my DK was that bad.

And then couple of weeks after that Blizzard announces mounts and pets go account wide. my face was pretty much like this:

*Kicks that paladin in the stomach* >:c

That's seriously so dumb and really quite cruel. Oh, I saw it, so I felt like killing it. I think if I saw another TLPD I would either call a friend over or watch it quite happily flying around!
