Goodness, I recently downloaded the Rarity add-on shortly before I started farming for this little guy. I'm regretting that very much at the moment. I've butchered over 1100 poor Fox's over the last 2 weeks and I've come up empty handed. What sucks is that I'm farming marks for the flying mount, so I can't even buy it! Argh! Come on, Fox! Give me some Petopia magic!

I would love to stop the slaughter, honestly. I'm on 1200 right now. The PETA in me is like, "Dude, not cool." It's insane that it's taking this long. Oh, I can camp for a rare spawn -- no problem. But slaughtering these foxes has been a real grind. Not to mention that I've also been doing the Fireland dailies for the the mini-pet. These two pets are going to be the death of me!

Ooh, I missed that with the flying mount. >_< Sorry! I'd really just recommend taking advantage of the lack of a daily cap and just grind grind grind marks. You WILL eventually get the kit, even if it takes longer....and if it's that important, get the kit first and the mount after, since you KNOW you'll always be able to get the marks due to the island side Tol Barad dailies. If you're extra motivated, you can make sure your faction wins TB multiple times a day to get a shot at all 12 dailies in TB proper.

Yeah Veph but he'd probably still get the marks for the pet before it dropped. XD

Look on the bright side: when MoP drops, you can look for it caged up in the AH! then you only need gold for it! ... probably a lot of gold, but still.

I'm such a gold horder, though!

After 1519 kills since I downloaded Rarity, the Fox finally dropped this afternoon. I'm glad, too, because I was about to go grab some lunch. Talk about going down the wire, because I am fairly certain I wouldn't have farm for the fox until way after MoP hits. Now I just have to worry about the Scorched Stone. I'm very surprised I haven't gotten the pet, yet. I must've opened nearly 40 of these already.

Scorched Stone. Good luck with that one. -_- I tried hard for months, got nothing, gave up several times....sure enough, the day after I finally got one, A SECOND ONE DROPPED THE VERY NEXT DAY. Sigh. Troll elemental is troll.

Sooooo yeah, bring all your patience....and then some. >_<
