The run cycle on the Headless Horseman mount is way too fast on the ground, too. Compare it in the air and compare it at epic speeds on the ground and you'll see what I mean.
Hell, worgen running wild at 100% is pretty spastic too for that matter.
someday I'll find someplace to host a sig that isn't stupid money-grubbing photobucket
I got the Grand Expedition last night as my first ever yak and holy shiat, to me it looks like he's gonna snap his back in half backwards and flip over onto his face from the sheer amount of luggage on his back. Im more then happy to bounce around on him though but like, holy crap o.o

Same. At first I was going WTF at the crazy skittering run and the fact that they're so short they look like they're sinking into the ground, but now I'm enjoying how silly it is. And it's definitely 1000x better than the jerking animation of the camels which almost gives me motion sickness.
I absolutely love the yak running and jumping animations. I think they're freakin adorable. When I finished up in Four Winds, I went up to Kun Lai instead of Krasarang, just so I could make my way up to the vendor to get both the regular yaks. I daresay they look even more fun and silly when a Tauren rides them and they're a bit bigger than they are for humans and such.
Though it didn't take long for a friend to comment on my Tauren's new 'girlfriend." Hmpf.
